GCN caught up with the Tinkoff-Saxo team to find out why core stability and strength work is so important for pro cyclists.
They reckon that nearly every pro cyclist includes some form of off the bike strength work in their regular training routine. Alberto Contador, Peter Sagan and the rest of the Tinkoff-Saxo team are certainly no different with team core workouts and post-ride stretches and a team strength and conditioning coach.
