Deco Brides Wear Black
"When it's black it's done," said the woman wearing a calico apron. Her Lord cigarette pinched between her coral lipstick lips, she was a working woman. No time for burnt rhubarb pies or any other duty of domesticity. Constance Nixon was every bit a Betty Crocker, if only in looks. But isn't that why my father married her? And just like my mother, I too have a knack for the beautiful. I leave the peasantry business of daily life to the credit card terminals. They're so much quicker. And what better accessory for the hand than an Art Deco Onyx masterpiece!

I love to see brides making their wedding ALL THEIR OWN. And I supposed it all starts with jewelry. This is a beautiful ring @nixonwoman

I like the shape and design of this ring. The black isn't my taste though.

This looks incredibly similar to a ring my mother used to wear every single day except hers was diamond shaped and not square shaped. I think that makes me love this ring even more than I would've.
