This barely 5-foot tall woman from Queens is not only the first female artist included on MTV's Annual Hottest MC List, the most-charted female rapper in the history of the Billboard Hot 100, or 6-time Grammy nominee, but also probably the biggest cheerleader of woman-kind.
Often called a bad influence or degrading towards other women, Nicki is in fact a huge supporter of female equality (or domination) and wants women to be strong, independent, and confident.
She wants women to be respected, and to command that respect until it is given to them. I used to be really confused by Nicki, but now I am one of her biggest fans!
"I think the goal is to not want anyone's acceptance."
"If you're a girl you have to be everything. You have to be dope at what you do, but you have to be super sweet, but you have to be sexy, and you have to be this, and you have to be that and I just can't be all those things at once. I'm a human being."
"When I'm assertive, I'm a 'bitch,' but when a man is assertive, he's a boss'"

"When I walk in, sit up straight"

Nicki is great. I don't really love her music, but I love her personality and the fact she got fired from practically every Red Lobster in New York, hahaha.
Oh my goodness when I saw this title I got so cranky but I'm totally on board! People assum she's a bad influence because she's a hip hop artist and because she embraces her sexuality, but if people actually listened to her they'd hear all the positivity and encouragement she's about
