made this last night. very simple and easy to tweak to personal taste. I sautéed chicken breast I chopped into pieces with butter, garlic and seasoned with Morton salt nature seasoning. vegetables I used squash, zucchini, carrots, celery, mushrooms, snow peas (in pods), broccoli, cauliflower and forgot to toss onion in. used same seasoning for all amd ensured there would be extra butter sauce to top it with. served with a dash of soy sauce. My two year old ate it up quick!! Also had some bell peppers that I decided to keep out for time's sale and room in the pan. Took about 20-30 mins total prep and cooking time and so easily altered!! great idea madeleine!! I actually contemplated sweet and sour sauce initially but it smelled so good already I decided it didn't need it!!
@CassZ139 Actually, I think you made a good choice for not including sweet and sour sauce. It's healthier and the stir fry itself already sound amazing. Also, what kind of oil did you use to stir fry or is it just butter?
I opted for only butter, but if I were going to use an oil maybe am infused olive oil or coconut oil, and yes much healthier.
@CassZ139 Thanks for the tip. I'll try the butter trick (I've been using grapeseed oil) and the stir fry veggies make always come out too oily. On the other hand, I never heard of infused olive oil. I just started cooking not to long ago but it has became a hobby to relief stress. :)
Ah yes grapeseed oil always forget that one. the olive oil is just an olive oil with added spices, herbs, whatever flavoring. I have one that is a little spicy but cannot remember exactly what it is lol. and great hobby to relieve stress in so many ways
