I could finally have my alone time this weekend. I've been going out every Saturday since the beginning of this year, so it's nice to down time. It's also the perfect chance for me to relax and detox at home. Instead of enjoying a cup of hot cocoa I'll be using it for a facial mask. Just a warning: Do not be tempted to lick it off your face.
1. 100% Dark Cocoa Powder - Contains high levels of antioxidant and other phytonutrients that help with cell repair, firming and preventing wrinkles.
2. Coconut Oil - Best known for its anti-bacterial properties and skin hydration benefit. This is the perfect medium to drive the benefits of the chocolate deep into your skin.
1. Place 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in a small bowl.
2. Add in 2 tablespoon of cocoa powder and mix until it makes a paste.
Apply it on your skin with fingertips or a soft facial brush. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Tone and moisturize your face as usual.
