Along with many other wanderlusters, I love to travel. I love being in a foreign space. I love meeting new people. I love being outside of my comfort zone. I love trying new foods. I love being submerged in new cultures. I already said it once, so I’ll say it again for dramatic annunciation: I love to travel.
I understand that traveling isn’t for everyone. Some people don’t enjoy sleeping in a bed that isn’t theirs and the thought of being on a plane for more than five hours absolutely kills them.
But, think about all the new adventures you get to experience. Whether it’s white water rafting in Jackson Hole, or kissing the Blarney Stone in Ireland, traveling the world opens up so many opportunities for everyone to enjoy.
Traveling teaches you more about yourself than any classroom ever will. I am such a firm believer that anyone who travels will view the world in a different light than those who don’t. Whether you’re young and on a budget, or retired with all the funds at your fingertips, everyone should travel when they have the chance. It has changed my life, and I guarantee it can change yours, too.
