[21st-Mar-15] Match Preview: Manchester City – West Bromwich Albion
Manchester City will be without Aleksandr Kolarov, James Milner, and Yaya Toure due to injury, the last of which suffered an Achilles injury in City’s 1-0 defeat to Barcelona in the mid-week. West Brom’s Ben Foster is out while Chris Brunt and Claudio Yacob are suspended. Victor Anichebe could possibly return from injury as well.
Manchester City can take comfort in the recent history, with 9 wins out of their last 10 meetings between the two sides. West Brom have also never won at the Ethiad Stadium, losing 5 of their 7 matches. Manchester City however are in poor form, having lost 4 of their last 5 games in all competitions.
West Brom on the other hand are 4-3-2 in the Premier League under Tony Pulis and have kept 6 clean sheets in those same 9 games under him. West Brom are without a road win in their last 9 outings, bagging only 5 points from those games. The Baggies also have only scored 9 goals on the road this season with Aston Villa’s 8 being the only worse club.
Predictions: One way traffic but West Brom should be able to smash and grab here. City horridly out of form.
