Alan Hutton and Jack Grealish are to return from suspension for Villa, which Aly Cissoko, Philippe Sendereos, Nathan Baker, and Ron Vlaar are all out due to injury. Swansea are expected to be at full fitness with the return of defender Federico Fernandez.

Swansea head into the game off of back-to-back defeats for only the second time all season, and also having won the last two meeting between the sides but only Everton have dropped more points from winning positions this season. Swansea’s scoring is also a cause for some concern, having failed to score more than two goals in any game since their 3-0 win over West Brom in August around the start of the season.
Aston Villa are attempting to win three consecutive Premier League matches since April of 2010 and will do so as the lowest scoring side in the Premier League. In 14 home matches, Villa have only found the net 11 times but forwards Christian Benteke had scored in consecutive matches and Gabriel Agbonlahor has netted three time in him last 2 games.
Prediction: Swansea look less of a goal threat since they sold Bony and I can see them getting stunned here.
Aston Villa 2-1 Swansea City

They need a new striker. Won't get out of mid-table without one.
@GermanBumbleBee Obviously not as well but probably could still seal 10th or 11th without him. They're a solid side all around.
@Spudsy2061 Wonder if they will do that well if they fail to replace Bony in the summer.
@GermanBumbleBee Swansea have just been chugging along in the top half all season. Impressed with Monk, even after he sold Bony.
Big win for Swansea. Monk's got them having a great season.
