5 Adele Lyrics Made For Shedding Tears From Album '25'
If you haven't heard Adele's latest album "25", I urge you to do so. Although it will remind you of that ex that did you wrong, you'll oddly miss them and every guy who will come into your life in the future for a full 45 minutes [the length of the album]. Each song will make you feel things you haven't felt in ages, it's beautifully sad. If you're not one to shed tears, listen to this album and that will no longer be the case. Tissues should be in your possession before pressing play, but don't worry -- despite the tears you'll enjoy it. Adele has the ability to take you places you've been and places you've never been. Just call it a journey. If you're up for the ride and don't mind a couple tears, keep scrolling to see some of the most heartbreaking [yet beautiful] lyrics from Adele's album. Track #6: Water Under The Bridge "If you're gonna let me down, let me down gently / don't pretend that you don't want me" Track #7: River Lea "But my heart is a valley, it's so shallow and man made / I'm scared to death if I let you in that you'll see I'm just a fake" Track #8: Love In The Dark "It is the world to me / that you are in my life / But I want to live / And not just survive" Track #9: Million Years Ago "I miss the air, I miss my friends / I miss my mother; I miss it when / Life was a party to be thrown / But that was a million years ago" Track #10: All I Ask "No one knows me like you do / And since you're the only one that matters, tell me, who do I run to?" Now go listen to the album It's okay to cry.
Linkin Park - Leave Out All The Rest
@neaa since you're in a meeting and bored to death....for your entertainment and a wonderful song too... LINKIN PARK LYRICS I dreamed I was missing You were so scared But no one would listen 'Cause no one else cared After my dreaming I woke with this fear What am I leaving When I'm done here? So if you're asking me I want you to know [Chorus] When my time comes Forget the wrong that I've done Help me leave behind some Reasons to be missed And don't resent me And when you're feeling empty Keep me in your memory Leave out all the rest Leave out all the rest Don't be afraid I've taken my beating I've shared what I've made I'm strong on the surface Not all the way through I've never been perfect But neither have you So if you're asking me I want you to know [Chorus] When my time comes Forget the wrong that I've done Help me leave behind some Reasons to be missed Don't resent me And when you're feeling empty Keep me in your memory Leave out all the rest Leave out all the rest Forgetting all the hurt inside You've learned to hide so well Pretending someone else can come And save me from myself I can't be who you are [Chorus] When my time comes Forget the wrong that I've done Help me leave behind some Reasons to be missed Don't resent me And when you're feeling empty Keep me in your memory Leave out all the rest Leave out all the rest Forgetting all the hurt inside You've learned to hide so well Pretending someone else can come And save me from myself I can't be who you are I can't be who you are
Radio Hits of the 2010s
To follow up on my list of powerful ladies to watch out for in 2015, I compiled a list of the seven best radio chart toppers since 2014 by the same group of female artists. This list is mostly dance tracks, so I have to give a shout out to Adele who just barely didn't make my list (you go girl!) 1. Rihanna - We Found Love There is no denying that Rihanna ruled the radio for the past decade. Ever since Pon De Replay she's been producing hit after hit after hit. I am going to go ahead and say that We Found Love, with Calvin Harris' beats, is my favorite out of all of her chart-toppers. 2. Katy Perry - Teenage Dream If this wasn't your summer anthem in 2010 I don't know if we can ever be friends. This will always be my favorite Katy Perry single! 3. Robyn - Dancing on My Own Robyn is one of my favorite artists ever, and this song didn't let me down at all! She has this uncanny ability to sing about hardships and generally shitty situations but making it a fun dance-y track. This sounds like my senior year of high school. 4. Beyoncé - Countdown My computer tells me that I am spelling Beyoncé wrong when I don't put an accent on it. If that doesn't tell you that Bey is queen I don't know what will. This song shows off Bey's insane range without being in your face about it (hey there Mariah) plus the video proves that she looks amazing in any color, style, and time period. Bow down. 5. Miley Cyrus- We Can't Stop I still can't get over this music video, but you really can't deny how damn catchy this song is. Plus this a lot less embarrassing to belt in the car than 'Party in the USA.' Miley gets a lot of hate, but I am here to stand up for her 100%. She isn't going to put on an act for anybody, and I have mad respect for that. 6. Nicki Minaj - Super Bass Yes I know every word to this song. Yes I can do this entire dance in my sleep. Yes I am obsessed with my girl Nicki. This is the song that really got me into Nicki and is still one of my go-to workout tracks. This was her first big hit in terms of 'pop' success and blasted her into the limelight. 7. Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe I am so, so sorry. I know you know this song, and I know that this will be stuck in your head for days now. How was I supposed to have a list of radio hits without including this though?!
