When talking to a hot yoga instructor, I asked her what the biggest misconception of yoga, to which she replied, "standing on your head." Most people forget what yoga is really about. It's not about twisting and folding yourself into some obscure position in order to achieve the perfect pose. There is no such thing as the perfect pose. Everyone's body is different, so everyone's pose will be different. Yoga is really about honoring your body, mind, and spirit, and to do this, you need to let go of all of your frustrations and doubts and just find peace. Just something to remember!
