A 5000 years old brewery found in Tel Aviv
The remains of a 4th millennium B.C. Egyptian settlement, including shatters of clay vessels, used for brewing, were found by the Israeli Antiquities Authority, while conducting a salvation excavation in the construction site of a new offices tower. The site, which is located in a district, known as one of the nightlife centers of Tel Aviv, is the northernmost Egyptian settlement found from that time. Beer was drank in enchant Egypt by all ranks of society, although it is not clear if regularly, or only in ceremonial occasions.

Cool stuff!! It's amazing what is still left to be found out there. In another life, I'd have liked to be an archaeologist of sorts.
