Today, both Porto and Real Madid have announced that the Whites will be signing Porto defender Danilo at the end of the season for an estimated £23 million. The defender will join the Spanish side starting in the summer and will remain there until the summer of 2021.
This is a good move for Real. Arguably their defense was the weakest part of their game and Danilo’s been both a Porto and Brazilian national team regular. The fee for the player is just about his asking price as well, so both sides seem to be making out just fine by this deal especially since Danilo’s coming into the Real side with Champions League experience already as acquired this year during his tenure at Porto.
