Most Hilarious Friends Couples [COUPLE OF THE WEEK!]
Is anyone else completely addicted to Friends now that it's on Netflix in its entirety? Sometimes it's not quite as fast-paced or binge-able as the TV shows of today, but man – I love it all the same!
I was born just a little too late in the 90's to grow up watching the crazy hi-jinx of Monica, Rachel, Ross, Joey, Chandler, and Phoebe (bless her hippie heart) – but now I can name them all from memory. See?!
In case you're new to the Love & Relationship community, one of our fun weekly activities is highlighting a famous couple, often fictional (but not always!) and celebrating all the reasons we love them.
This week, in lieu of choosing just one couple, I decided to put together a short list of some of the most hilarious couples from Friends – one, to see who else is totally second-wave addicted to America's most beloved sitcom, and two, because – OH. MY. GOD. (I can never get enough of Janice). Chandler and Janice
Oh. My. God. The three words that spring to mind IMMEDIATELY whenever I think of Janice – that, and her obnoxious Fran Drescher laugh. What made Chandler go back to this woman so many times? We'll never know.
Wait, yes we will – SHEER DESPERATION. Ross and Janice
Remember that time Ross made a horrible mistake? And then he was so annoying that even JANICE, the whiniest, most annoying person in the Friendsiverse, had to break up with him?! It was hard to have much optimism for Ross's future romantic prospects at that moment. Ross and Rachel
You know, it's kind of hard to be optimistic about Ross's romantic life in general.
Anyone else think these two are just THE WORST?! I haven't finished the series yet, so I'm not sure if they ultimately end up together or not so NO SPOILERS!! But also I have a feeling (and I've had it since I started watching this damn series) that I somehow know EXACTLY how everything's going to end...

Okay, they were never officially a couple, but she did, y'know, carry his sperm around inside her body for several months and then give birth to his triplets (which he parents along with his 44-year-old girlfriend, slash old home ec teacher, Mrs. Knight).
And there was that one time he thought she was an exotic masseuse, and tried to get Phoebe's poor colleague to give him a... well, it was inappropriate. Chandler and Phoebe

And finally, one of my favorite Friends couples. I love these two. Monica is kind of the worst sometimes (she's, in my opinion, the reason the show isn't very easy to binge – she just gets too annoying after a while). But there relationship is pretty cute, and very funny. I like how Chandler gives Monica crap about a lot of stuff, but when it comes down to it is totalllllly just undyingly devoted to her and will do anything she says. Relationship goals? Heheheh.
