My Week-Long Japanese Adventure!
I just got back from a week long solo adventure in Japan! Here are the videos I've made documenting my trip^^ 1. Koyasan to Kyoto I went from plane to train to cable car to bus to get to the GORGEOUS cemetery on top of Mt. Koya in Japan. It took over 3 hours to get there but it was so worth it! I stayed there for one say then headed down to Osaka to check out a really fun cafe. Then I ended the day getting to my AirBnb in Kyoto :) Here are some photos: 2. Japanese Alphabet-Hiragana
Let's start with the very basics. These are a little trickier. Then we have some compound letters. "Pa" becomes "Pya", "Ka" becomes "Kya", and so forth. This holds true for all but "Chi" and "Shi", these become "Cha", "Chu", "Cho", "Sha", "Shu", and "Sho". I hope this helps those looking to learn Japanese. This Cafe in Seoul is An Artist's DREAM!
This weekend I went to a cafe called Peach Gray that I am absolutely in love with! It's a completely normal cafe that happens to also serve yummy pancakes, but they give you a little something extra that makes this place absolutely amazing. With any thing you order on the menu, they give you a tray filled with watercolors and a water color brush pen (which if you dont know what that is, watch the video and prepare to be amazed!) It was so calming and lovely! Here's the video plus some footage at one of my favorite museums in Seoul! Who else thinks this is heaven?

Would You Eat Pikachu Instant Ramen?
I saw this when I was hunting for fun things to share with you guys today, and I know there's a ton of Pokemon fans here on Vingle, so without further ado: YOU GUYS. PIKACHU INSTANT RAMEN EXISTS IN JAPAN. AND IT IS ADORABLE. It comes in two different flavors, soy broth or seafood flavor - each with their own adorable Pikachu design! The creators of this cuteness, Sapporo Ichiban, paid extra attention to detail - even with the packaging. The lid is a Pokeball! And each cup of noodles comes with one of 10 collectable Pikachu stickers! Once you've added hot water and cooked it all up, you'll find small kamaboko fish cakes with Pikachu's face on them. So many Pikas in this cup. Can you catch 'em all? (Sorry, the joke had to be made.) In Japan, you can buy these adorable instant noodles for the rough equivalent of a dollar. (Or you can grab them for $4 a box on sites like Amazon or eBay.) So now I want to know: Would you eat these noodles? Or are you just not down to pay 400% just to get your Pika fix? Seoul Cafe Crush: Berkeley Coffee Social
If you know anything about Seoul, you probably know that cafes are a HUGE part of life here. People can spend an entire day just hanging out in a cafe, and as a result there are cafes all over Seoul - each one prettier than the next! One of my all-time favorite cafes in Seoul is Berkeley Coffee Social in Noksapyeong (near Itaewon) The owners are incredibley sweet, and its a neighborhood hangout for most dog owners. You're guaranteed to see cute dogs the entire time you're there :3 Their specialty is "Gold Canary Milk" (1st picture) which is basically hot turmeric milk (which is so so good for you!) and their fresh hot apple juice (second picture^^) If you're ever in Seoul and want to feel like a local while having some delicious drinks, be sure to check out Berkeley Coffee Social :) It's HERE on the map! Guinea Pigs Make Excellent Pets
Guinea pigs are very social animals and this is why they can be perfect pets for adults and children alike. If you are a beginner guinea pig owner, you can start with at least one pair. They are friendly so they can get along with a companion in their cage. Take note that you have to be careful when handling guinea pigs. If kids are petting them, adult supervision is required. Though they won't bite, they must be held properly to keep them from falling or being fondled too much. When choosing a cage for them, you can consider getting a spacious one so you can put bedding, hays, food and water bowl, and toys too. It is also best to give them enough space for their daily activities. Take note that cage flooring made of wood is also not ideal as it can get chewed by your pets. This Korean Cafe's Shaved Ice Has A Dino-Mite Surprise!
South Korea is known for offering an endless amount of cafes, and in order to stand out in a crowd, these cafes are constantly coming up with new and creative ways to keep the customers coming. Needless to say, there's lots of awesome going on in Korea's cafe scene, but this Busan-based cafe and their Dinosaur Egg shaved ice might be taking the proverbial cake. The shell is made out of a cookies and cream white chocolate and sits on a 'nest' of chocolate shavings, pearls, and shaved ice. Not enough chocolate for you? Don't worry. They give you some chocolate syrup on the side. Every order of the shaved ice also comes with a metal hammer, so that you could play archaeologist and tap the shell open! And of course, what would a choco dinosaur egg be without a mini choco dinosaur living inside of it?! WITH CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM!!! The dessert is sold at the Dala 100% Chocolate Cafe for 11,000 won (or roughly $9.50 USD) - a small price to pay for the glory of eating a huge dinosaur egg made of sugar. Alright Starbucks aficionados, here's a drink you've probably never tried. Meet the Lavender Cafe Breve and the Orange & Dark Mocha. These two new concoctions are only available at Korea's 1000th store, located in the Cheongdam area of Seoul. Cheongdam is basically Beverly Hills - its where all the celebs live and work, all the wannabe celebs hang out, and its the luxury shopping and plastic surgery capital of Asia. Inside 'Macho Cafe' - Japan's Hooters For Women!
Any and all meat-related jokes I could make to introduce this card would read a little too much like a bad porno script, so I'm just going to come out and say it: Tokyo has a 'Macho Cafe' where women of all ages are served alcohol, coffee, and bistro fare by young, buff guys. The pop-up cafe, run by the muscly dudes of Macho 29, frequently turns a small dessert shop in a Tokyo mall into a stud-stuffed destination for drooling ladies with lots of appetite (and very little shame). The menu is on the pricier side, but you can be rest assured that it's totally worth it. If you order dessert, your table's designated beefcake will prepare it in front of you and your girlfriends. If you order a beer, not only will he pour it for you, but immediately crush the can -- MANLY MAN STYLE!! Perhaps my personal favorite option is the Wall of Meat. For the equivalent of $27 here in the US, the Wall of Meat gets you surrounded by a number of the cafe's macho men, who will flex and build their own merry-go-round 'meat wall' around you for several minutes. Considering the amount of work and pressure these people are under, it's a little disheartening to see how little they earn for their efforts. So, maybe rethink your foray into the industry for now...
