Breakfast is all about protein. How are you supposed to start your day with zero energy?!
Once you're sick of that breakfast burrito (but do people really get sick of breakfast burritos...?) it's time to try these protein-packed smoothies!
Peanut butter is filled with protein, good fats, and enough calories to get you set to conquer your day and possibly the world. Plus smoothies are so simple to make!

PB&J Smoothie

1 cup milk
1 cup frozen raspberries, plus more for garnish
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
Puree ingredients in a blender until smooth

Kale and Mango Smoothie

2 cups baby kale
1 cup frozen mango chunks
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
Puree ingredients in a blender until smooth

Vanilla Espresso Smoothie

1 banana (fresh or frozen)
3/4 cup water
2 or 3 ice cubes
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
2 teaspoons espresso powder
1 teaspoon honey or agave
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Chopped dark chocolate, for garnish
Puree ingredients in a blender until smooth

Chia, Pomegranate, and Mango Smoothie

1 cup water
2 tablespoons chia seeds
1 cup frozen mango chunks
1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
4 strawberries
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
1 teaspoon honey or agave (optional)
Stir chia seeds into water and let sit 20 minutes.
Pour into blender and add remaining ingredients. Puree until smooth.

@asparaus I agree, mango and peanut butter? But I guess a lot of Thai food combines those flavors...
