[11th-Apr-15] Match Preview: Houston Dynamo – Montreal Impact
Houston defender Raul Rodriguez will be unavailable due to a concussion while forward Giles Barnes is a game-time decision after missing training this week. Montreal are without keeper Maxmie Crepeau, defender Adrian Lopez, midfielder Justin Mapp, and forward Cameron Porter whom are all out with injuries, the worst of which is Porter’s ACL tear that has ended any prospect of him playing this season.

Head-To-Head

Montreal come into the match winless in their last 3 games in the league but fresh off their advancement into the CONCACAF Champions League Final, whom they will play against Club America of Mexico later this month. In three years of fixtures between these two teams, the visiting team has failed to record a single win. Montreal are also looking for their 1st league win this campaign.

Houston are coming off being shut out in their 3rd game out of 5 so far this season following their 1-0 defeat in Seattle. Winless in their last 4 following an opening day win, Houston are averaging an abysmal 0.6 points per game so far this season. It's not all doom and gloom though, as Houston have yet to concede more than 1 goal in a game this campaign but the Dynamo have failed to score in their last 259 minutes of football, the 4th longest goalless drought in the league's history. Houston have also won the last 4 meetings between the two at the BBVA Compass Stadium in all competitions.

Prediction: Houston will benefit from Montreal's midweek game as the Impact look to save some players ahead of their Champions League Final later this month.
Houston 2-1 Montreal
