These are called Imagawa-Yaki (also known as Goza-Soroh, and Oban-Yaki): traditional Japanese sweets, similar to the Western pancakes with Anko (sweet red-beans paste) and sometimes Chocolate inside.

I've had these before in Little Tokyo in Los Angeles! They're so good. Especially when they're still fresh and warm.
