Post Gym Natural Beauty Recipes
I like starting my day with short distance jog and yoga stretches. It feels good to get rid of the toxin and get the blood rushing in the morning. To keep my mind and body fresh I love ending my post-workout routine with a natural beauty boost.

1. DIY Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo are often use on second day hair but I love using it on clean hair. Sprinkle some of the content on your roots and it will keep oily scalp at bay for several days. This can extend the life of my washes.

DIY Deodorant

If I ever run out of my favorite organic deodorant stick I make my own. This is not an antiperspirant so you will sweat but it controls any bad body odor.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup organic extra virgin cold pressed coconut oil
1/4 cup baking soda
1/4 cup organic cornstarch (or arrowroot powder)
10 drops essential oils (we love lavender)
Mix all ingredients together. Store in a glass jar with a lid.

DIY Green Tea Body Mist

Once in a while it's refreshing to take a break from mass produced body spray. As much as I love Bath and Body Work's Moonlight body mist I need a break from it and go with a fresh and relaxing aroma like green tea and cucumber.
Ingredients:
1 bag of green tea
Half of a cucumber
1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
1-2 drops peppermint oil (optional)
Small spray bottle
Brew a cup of tea and store it in the fridge. peel, puree and strain half of a cucumber. Take the green tea out from the fridge add 1/4 cup to the spray bottle. Add 2 tablespoon cucumber juice and the rest of the ingredients in the bottle. Shake it to combine.
Store it in the fridge and it should last about a week.
