Wedding Gift Buying
When it comes to the Weddings Community, we don't talk too much about wedding guests. With that in mind I wanted to share an article I read published by Harper's Bazaar called, "The Chic Wedding Gift Guide." You can read it here, but I wanted to highlight some of my favorites with you on Vingle.
While several of the items on Tara Lamont-Djite's list were spendy, I wanted to show you items less than $200:
Un Reveur artwork, $80, un-reveur.com.
Hario Olivewood French Press, $109, store.kaufmann-mercantile.com.
Juniper Books classic love stories, $150, juniperbooks.com.
Lomography Instant Camera, $139, lomography.com.
Diptyque candle, $80,diptyqueparis.com.
What gift would you love to give and receive?

I wouldn't spend $80 on a candle, but that camera and french press are great gifts.

Love the art quote in the first spot and the camera is a no-brainer!

I thought it was in bad form to give gifts that weren't on the registry.

Personally, I find the whole wedding registry to be crass. I may be the minority on that thought, but It's not something I like to see. I think you can get away from the registry (as a guest) if you buy something that is appropriate. I love the camera idea.
