To me, soundtracks are almost more important than the actual story in a film (take any Wes Anderson film for example) so I wanted to share my 5 favorite feel-good teen movies with the best soundtracks (total toss up between Pretty in Pink and Breakfast Club though...)
This is just one of my favorite films, ever. It's filled with songs that get stuck in your head and bring back the 90s in with full force. It's feel good bubble gum pop with a touch of Tupac.
2. Pretty in Pink
If you're going to start a film off with the Psychedelic Furs, you know you're doing something right.
3. Romeo + Juliet
Guys they have a children's choir singing Prince at their wedding. PRINCE. What the hell kind of amazing sound track is this!?
4. 10 Things I Hate About You
If Joan Jett doesn't strike your fancy, there is still always Heath Ledger ready to woo you with You're Just Too Good to Be True.
5. Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist
This movie was made to just be an awesome playlist. I honestly can't tell you a thing about the plot, but I know that I downloaded this OST mere seconds after the credits started rolling.
