I'm not surprised to hear this, but I wonder--will it really be effective? And aren't there some homeopathic remedies that work? I think this might meet with a lot of controvery.

If homeopathic remedies work then allow them. My problem is that, as stated, they typically don't work and in some cases cause more harm. Alternative medicine that has been proven to work becomes medicine. Period. Of course the FDA should be involved in homeopathy.
