Super cute and super OMG are just a couple superlatives that ring through my head over this diy project. And all you need to do is hit the 99-cent store (or dollar store where I live) to get the supplies for this cool hack.
Honor is a mom of two and decided to update the nursery a bit. While looking for homemade letter ideas (more on that in another card), I discovered her simple chic idea to transform bland drapes into something eye-catching and bright.
Using just a couple rolls of bright yellow Duct tape, and a good eye, she laid out the drapes on the floor (like the rest of us would do!), and using the seam at the top as a reference point, just taped down the tape.
I imagine trying this on white cotton or linen drapes. This is also a great idea if you want to spruce up some new drapes from IKEA. This has to me one of the most unconventional methods of upcycling construction tape and old drapes. I'd be very interested to know what your take is on this idea. Funny the things you can do to make out of just about anything. Proof that you don't need to spend a lot of money to get something fashionable
