Ever used a tube of Mint Julep Clay Mask? That stuff is amazing (for blackheads and pores) and it's relatively cheap but for people with dry or sensitive skin the clay mask can irritate your skin. The reason is the clay mask draws out oil and impurities leaving you the matte feeling. However, if you have dry skin it will take out most of your moisturize (you can tell if you feel tightness on your skin and if your skin is red after using the mask).
Here's a homemade alternative to Mint Julep Clay Mask for dry and sensitive skin. Great for healing acne!
Recipe adapted from Viva Women.
2 Tablespoons of yogurt
1 Tablespoon of mung bean powder (optional: but helps with acne)
Finely chopped mint leaves
All you need to do is mix everything together to form a paste. Feel free to play with the consistency!
How to use:
Apply the mixture on clean face. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes (or until it dries). Wash it off with lukewarm water. Tone and moisturize!

I might hate the taste of mint things, but the feel of mint is SO refreshing in masks and stuff!
