Fallon Cross-Dressing Charlize Theron

In case you missed it, Jimmy Fallon took the Mad Max: Fury Road star, Charlize Theron and cross-dressed her. Despite Fallon's hilarious inclinations to swap genders on TV, one has to wonder, Has he been watching RuPaul's Drag Race? His design for the South African movie money maker seemed to be a direct riff on world-famous drag star, Alyssa Edwards.
Charlize Theron is on the left, all dolled up by Fallon. To the right, is a picture of Alyssa Edwards from Season 5 of RuPaul's Drag Race. They could be sisters! What's your thought on these two? Almost separated at birth right? To see more celebrity dopplehangers, click here.
Take a look at Theron's badass character from the upcoming Mad Max: Fury Road trailer. I'm thinking that the oil slick on her forehead is meant to distract from her large forehead. But honestly, this woman can do no wrong. Look at the way she holds that gun! This girl don't play!

Life advice you need from Furiosa
If you haven't seen Mad Max cancel all your plans and go right now. If you have, then you already know that Imperator Furiosa is one serious badass. The movie is basically one giant, epic car chase featuring her telling other people what to do. She's the kind of character that would probably have some really good life advice. Don't let anyone mess with you It might be tempting to be conciliatory when people are rude or try to push you around. But being likeable doesn't mean people should get to take advantage of you or treat you like garbage. Shut that down. Feel free to forgive... or not You're allowed to forgive people for their jerkish behavior (she decided to bring Max on the War Rig after all). First imoressions aren't everything, and if someone changes you can decide to accept it and move on. But that's up to you. If you receive an apology that doesn't feel genuine, you have the power to walk away. You can be tough Whoever said that women can't be tough has clearly never had the privilege of being punched in the face by Furiosa. She is fierce and ruthless and she does not apologize for it. She lives in a brutal world and she does not intend to let it take her down without a fight. You can have empathy, too So many narratives tell us that we can't be heroes without being frigid and unfeeling, disconnected from the world. Furiosa calls BS on all of that. She has empathy for the Wives, who ask her for help. She has love for the women that raised her, and hope for the future. You are entitled to your anger Say it with me: anyone that invalidates my feelings of anger because they are distasteful or inconvenient is getting left in the dust. I know it's a mouthful, but your feelings, and especially your anger when you've been wronged, are valid.

All-Time Best Movie Adaptations Based on Books
We all are big fans of movies and cinema, whether it is Bollywood content or Hollywood. Every year, we get to see some of the best movies ever made which win our hearts. We have higher expectations from movies that are adapted from some world-famous books. This hangs us on a thread as it made us think which one was better – movie adaptation or the original book? Well, it works both ways. People who are dedicated readers and read regularly prefer books over movies, and those who have a hard time reading books, enjoy movies more than anything! In this article, I’ll be listing down all-time best movie adaptations based on books. · The Color Purple (1985) ‘The Color Purple’ is written by a famous American novelist Alice Walker and its stellar adaptation is created by Steven Spielberg. This adaptation has done good justice and is extremely faithful to the original novel in terms of characters as well as the plot. Celie’s inner thoughts and emotions have become lively through the phenomenal performance of the cast, which is a great achievement for Steven Spielberg. Hence, it becomes a must-watch movie. · The Remains of the Day (1993) ‘The Remains of the Day’ is a beautiful novel by Kazuo Ishiguro and its adaptation is created by James Ivory. This story revolves around the character study which is told from an English butler named Stevens’ point of view. All the characters are presented in equal length throughout the film and all of these are rooted in the point of view of the protagonist Stevens. Although the ending of the movie is less hopeful and arguably tragic than the actual novel, it doesn’t feel left out and restrained with the whole story. Hence becoming a must-watch. · Forrest Gump (1994) Well, this one is my favorite from the list. ‘Forrest Gump’ is a novel by Winston Groom and its adaptation is created by Robert Zemeckis. This movie has won six Oscars in all, including the one for the Best Picture. The streamlined character is beautifully portrayed by Tom Hanks. This movie has taken strong source material and the result is in front of our eyes. Every viewer of this movie finds it charming as well as fill with wisdom. This makes this movie a must-watch in all senses. · Harry Potter (2002-2011) ‘Harry Potter’ is a novel series written by J. K. Rowling. It comprises various genres like Magical Realism, Adventure Fiction, Mystery, High Fantasy, Thriller, etc. This 8-films long movie series is directed by 4 directors namely Chris Columbus (Part 1 & 2), Alfonso Cuaron (Part 3), Mike Newell (Part 4), and David Yates (Parts 5 to 8). The movie adaptations have done complete justice to the novels, although the makers of the movie had to narrow down the story quite a bit. But we can surely say that these are the ideal adaptations for the fans who are looking for incredible content. So, it is a must-watch too. Emily Blunt Has A Girl-Crush
So it seems Emily Blunt has a little girl-crush... But on who? Charlize Theron, naturally. It's no surprise Blunt has a strong admiration for the gorgeousness that is Theron. The two have just completed working together on the sequel to 2012's hit movie, Snow White and the Huntsman. From interviews, the two seem very fond of each other. "It was so much fun," Blunt told the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's grants banquet at the Beverly Wilshire hotel. "I loved working with all those people and Charlize is my new girl crush, for sure." Even Blunt's husband, John Krasinski, chimed in, "She's my new girl crush, too. She said I'm allowed to say that." Absolutely adorable. The couple has been married since 2010 and have a daughter named Hazel. They also share an environmentally friendly $2 million dollar mansion in Ojai, California just outside of Los Angeles. But Blunt jokingly corrected her husband, "You don't have a pass yet, we'll discuss that later." Theron just turned 40 and looks like she hasn't aged a day. Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, Who's the fairest of them all? Charlize Theron, of course. She made sure to celebrate the big 4-0 with many of her famous friends which included Blunt and Krasinski, and Chelsea Handler. Though Jennifer Anniston and Justin Theroux were invited, the two were off on their honeymoon in Bora Bora with best friend Courtney Cox. The celebration took place in West Hollywood as the stars arrived looking very casual but with gifts in hand. You'd think celebrities don't give gifts since they're fully capable of buying anything they want themselves. Here's a picture of Blunt and Theron on set together. Blunt plays Theron's "evil younger sister" in the film that is supposed to be release with Universal Pictures on April 22, 2016. Chris Hemsworth, Jessica Chastain, and Sam Claflin are some of the other fellow costars. The two women joked, "It was a total queen-off. There were two crowns on set and you don't want that." It looks like they're enjoying the spotlight as the leading ladies. The movie actually got rid of Snow White entirely which means Kristen Stewart did not reprise her role. Kinda odd for a movie that has the character in its title. Stewart has recently gotten a lot of press revolving around her sexuality but she's out and proud and recently revealed in an interview that she's "not hiding". She suggests fans to Google her if they are so concerned to know her sexual orientation. Regardless, we hope her relationship with her ex-costars still remains strong. Are you excited for the movie!?
Filipino artist Eisen Bernardo combines magazine covers with classic art
Eisen Bernardo unites classical and modern in his latest project "Mag + Art", combining contemporary magazine covers with classic portraits by artists like Pablo Picasso, Frida Kahlo, and John Singer Sargent. (It's sort of strange how well some of these blend in with one another!) I'm not quite sure of the statement the artist is trying to make. Are we likening Hollywood celebrities to the muses of some of the most esteemed fine artists? Or was this just to point out coincidences? Either way, these images are extremely amusing to look at! --------------------------------------------------------------- Photo 1: Natalie Portman, W Magazine May 2005 + "Portrait of Frances Sherborne Ridley Watts" by John Singer Sargent Photo 2: Prince, Billboard Magazine January 2013 + "Portrait of Theodore Roosevelt by John Singer Sargent" Photo 3: Kirsten Dunst, Esquire Russia February 2012 + "Good Companions" by Vittorio Reggianini Photo 4: Robert Pattinson, Vanity Fair Italy March 2010 + "The Skater (portrait of William Grant)" by Gilbert Stuart Photo 5: Gwen Stefani, InStyle Magazine April 2010 + "The Letter" by Auguste Toulmouche Photo 6: Katherine Heigl, Harper's Bazaar Ukraine August 2010 + "Rita Granadina" by George Owen Wynne Apperley Photo 7: Prince William, Vanity Fair Spain April 2011 + "Portrait of Monsieur M," William-Adolphe Bouguereau Photo 8: Gwen Stefani, InStyle Magazine November 2011 + "Dolce Far Niente" by John William Godward Photo 9: Philip Seymour Hoffman, Esquire Malaysia + "Frieda y Diego Rivera" by Frida Kahlo Photo 10: Charlize Theron, W Magazine February 2012 + "Poker Night (from A Streetcar Named Desire)" by Thomas Hart Benton
