These three men, who are responsible for 'I'm On A Boat," "I Just Had Sex," and "Like a Boss," are back again but this time on the big screen.
As if my love for Andy Samberg wasn't already out of control, the big idiot (along with Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone) is going to be writing, staring in, and producing The Lonely Island's first ever feature film.
They're teaming up with the producer of “Knocked Up,” “The 40-Year-Old Virgin,” “Bridemaids,” “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” “Get Him to the Greek,” and many more so this film is actually going to be insane. Like, insane.
The only we info we have about the plot (and really, what skit with Andy Samberg actually had a plot?!) is that it is a “comedy set in the world of music.” Apparently there is a rapper whose latest album has flopped hard. In desperation, he agrees to reunite with his former boy band for a concert.
So far no release date, but all I know is, I'm putting money on a Justin Timberlake cameo.
