If you find your wedding (and reception) is in a spot that is positioned miles and miles from shore, don't wallow in your sorrows, though I probably couldn't blame you. Focus not on what you wish you had; focus on how you can bring the tropics to your wedding!
In case you hadn't noticed, I've been sneaking in some delicious cocktail recipes for weddings into the Weddings Community. Mojito Jello shots was posted yesterday, which you can read here. Summer is approaching quickly. Even if your wedding is more along the lines of Philly Bespoke or Equine in Great Falls, you're allowed to get a bit inebriated by way of the tropics!

Sydney Marriage Celebrant prices vary a lot. This is mainly due to the fact that the service they're providing varies a lot. It's surprising that for what should be one of the most significant days in peoples lives that so many look for the lowest possible price. If you chose your reception venue on that metric, we'd see a lot more weddings at McDonalds. Prices for a Wedding Celebrant in Sydney can range from $350 (the McDonalds options) to over $2,000 for a quality celebrant providing a unique, personalised ceremony that reflects the couple and is unique to them. The celebrant will know to keep the ceremony, punchy and engaging without making a show of themselves. They'll provide a quality PA. They'll be extremely well organised, but should something unforeseen occur, they'll be unflappable. They'll keep you both present and relaxed during the ceremony. Regardless of whether you are looking for a budget option or a top-rated Sydney marriage celebant, professionalism is an absolute must. At a minimum they should provide you with a clear quote for the ceremony detailing all inclusions and exclusions. There should also be a clear and detailed service agreement or contract signed by both parties. Chocolate Chip Cookie Shot Glasses
In honor of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, here is a deliciously fun way to get your chocolate chip cookie fix during happy hour: Chocolate Chip Cookie Shot Glasses! And in case you think I am making this holiday up, you can find it , and a ton of other national holidays that will blow your mind at National Day Calendar online. This 4 1/2 star recipe comes from All Recipes user, Nicole Faust Hunt, called "Absolutely The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies." To make the shot glasses, you will need a 'popover' pan. Otherwise, you can make these using small cupcake pans. However, the shape of the glass will not look like a shot glass. Ingredients: 1 cup butter flavored shortening (not butter) 3/4 cup white sugar 3/4 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons Mexican vanilla extrac t2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 2 cups milk chocolate chips Chocolate candy melts (for later) Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease the pan. In a large bowl, cream together the butter flavored shortening, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla .Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips. Press the cookie dough into the popover pan bottom and sides. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until light brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Separately, melt the chocolate candy melts in a microwave or a double boiler. Once the cookie shot glasses have cooled, spoon in the candy melts, covering the bottom and inside cookie walls. This will harden relatively quick, or you can put it in the fridge. This coating will prevent liquids from being absorbed into the cookie.
