Nick Jonas's Diabetes Story
Nick Jonas was just beginning his time in a band with his brothers when he began dealing with cold like symptoms, weight loss, bad attitude, and more symptoms. He went to the doctor with his parents, and discovered that his blood sugar was incredibly high--rapidly approaching 800. While staying in the hospital for a few days, he learned that he had diabetes, and was overwhelmed with the news. Nick has Type I diabetes, but those with Type II can still learn from his experiences! As he learned more about the disease and how to manage it, he made the decision to be very public about it, because he knew it would be encouraging for those who he was able to connect with on stage to be able to relate to his journey if they too were afflicted with the disease. As someone living with diabetes, Nick has given a lot of advice to others learning about and living with diabetes: - Understand that it is a full life change, and that it will be difficult. You will eventually adjust, even if you don't think you can survive this way at first. - Learn about how your body, specifically, reacts to exercise and carbohydrates. Even though he gets a ton of exercise on stage, he also plays golf and other games because he has found it helps him. - Rely on your family and doctors more than you want to; don't be afraid to ask for help. You don't need to go through this alone, and you shouldn't. With these tips, Nick thinks that anyone can find the perfect balance for managing their diabetes without becoming too discouraged.
Taylor Swift's Director is Such a Petty Person OMFG
Alright, I don't even know where to start with this. So a music video director, Joseph Kahn, who is Korean American, has been accused of copyright many times before. He most recently worked on Taylor's newest video. Most famously and obviously, he is known for copying 2NE1's Come Back Home video: Now like, at this point, whatever right? 2NE1 are queens and a little copy pasting didn't harm them and its been 3 years so let's move on. Until petty Joe Shmoe had to drop this tweet after he, once again, was accused of copying (this time from Beyonce): THERE IS SO MUCH WRONG WITH THIS TWEET WTF. 1. Obscure kpop video LOL thats just disrespectful on so many levels. Disrespectful to 2NE1, disrespectful to the Kpop fandom as a whole, disrespectful to the director and other people who worked hard to create the music video. It's also like...wrong??? How can a 60million+ viewed video be obscure. He's clearly just a very insecure man. 2. North Korean basement woooooow what a shithead. Sorry for my language but joking about North Korea is such a low horrible move and I'm just like???????? Plus, Koreans still struggle with people assuming South Korea is just as starving and backwards as North Korea and have to work hard to remind people that no, we aren't brainwashed, no we don't eat dog, etc (im not saying north koreans are all brainwashed or eat dog, im just saying those are the horrible stereotypes I hear from ignorant people when I talk about liking Korean things...) For him, as a Korean American, to say spew this crap is just infuriating. Why keep bringing this up? Because you're pissed you got caught? Because you're petty? Because you're so insecure? Idek man but the north korean comment was just too far. money (i wont even say fame cause tbh he's not famous he just works for famous people lmao) makes you so ugly.

Battle of the Boy Bands
The boy(s) that stole our hearts from the last decade or so. The best part of growing up in the 90s is the music that was produced during that era. Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Brian McKnight are some of my favorite solos. Apart from those the soulful artists there are the boy bands that stole my heart. I used to sing-a-long to their songs whenever they come up on the radio. On my free time, my sisters and I would try to learn their dance choreography. Fast forward to 2015, boy bands are still popular (at least among the teens). However, which boy band would actually stand the test of time? New Kids On The Block They've been active since the late 80s. Currently, they're still singing, dancing and throwing concerts. Right on! N'Sync They rivals of BSB. They would have been more popular if the group stuck together. Nonetheless, N'Sync is still one of the best boy bands out there. Backstreet Boys Most popular 90s boy band. People (like myself) are still listening to their classics. Needless to say they're an oldie but goodie The Jonas Brothers A boy band made of real bros. Seriously how cool is that? In addition, they write and compose most of their songs. It's unfortunate the boys grew up and decided to pursue their own activities. One Direction The pretty boys of today's generation. I honestly only know one song from these guys "What Makes You Beautiful" and but I have a feeling they'll be forgotten in a decade. Westlife The group that never fails to deliver emotional and touching songs. Their hit singles are still popular today and I can assure you that everyone knows at least one Westlife anthem. BBMak The underrated trio. I actually first heard of them through Disney Chanel but other than that I haven't seen them around. They have the potential but I have no idea where they went after releasing "Back Here" (shown above). 98 Degree You can think of them as the four guy band serenading mainly love songs. They have several hits but in 2003 they group decided to take a break and focus on their solo activities. They haven't make a comeback since then. The winner(s): Backstreet Boys & New Kids On The Block As seen from the video above the popular 80s/90s boy band still handle to make the crowd go crazy. Yes, they might be old but they're still grooving! What do yo think?
Joe Jonas Is Upset About 'Zigi'
Jonas still has feelings for Hadid. Though media coverage has focused solely on Gigi Hadid's feelings about her fresh new romance with former One Directioner Zayn Malik, no one has asked Joe Jonas how he feels. A source dished out all of Jonas' emotions to E! News revealing that Jonas is "a bit upset" and he still does indeed have feelings for his ex girlfriend. "Joe is doing well," a source tells E! News. "He was a bit upset how fast Gigi went out in public with Zayn, but it is what it is at this point." Undoubtedly, Jonas is shocked by how quickly Hadid rushed into another relationship. However that's kind of Hadid's style. When she was having troubles with former Australian boyfriend Cody Simpson, Jonas was there to console her. That eventually led to their relationship with many claim as Jonas being her possible rebound. Now that she's had Jonas for awhile, she can move on to another option even if Jonas isn't happy. "He still has feelings for Gigi that won’t just disappear overnight. They did love each other and he still has a love for Gigi. He is not looking to rush into another relationship though just yet," the insider says. "He is focusing on his music and new projects that are in the works. He has some great friends and family around so, like anything, he knows his feelings for Gigi will pass with time." As you read in a previous Card I posted about Hadid and Malik, her friends aren't too thrilled with this new budding relationship. Even fans hate their couple name, 'Zigi'. "Her friends do not quite understand what the attraction is," a source also tells E! News. "He is not her usual type, he doesn’t share her sense of humor or ease with people [and] he’s a little more self-aware and awkward." Will the relationship last?
