With my wedding less than a year away, it got me thinking about the toasting flutes for the reception. Since my theme has been Tiffany Blue since I was a little girl, I sorta wanted to go with silver rimmed champagne flutes. But this lovely DIY glass into gold project has my head spinning in love with this. In fact, my head seems to be spinning over my Upcycled DIY Collection. Have you followed it yet?
You could buy these, but where's the fun in that?! Besides you want these to be utterly cute with your own personality on the glasses. And just because I am a gold girl doesn't mean you can't use your own colors or metals. Just have fun with it. Aint no big deal!
Can you believe that all you need for this is glass paint, which you can find at any hobby or craft store and stencils?! Hard to believe, right? Obviously, you will need some flutes to paint onto. They won't appear out of thin air. <3
Simply place a stencil over the glass and brush the paint onto the glass and fire into the oven at 350* for 30 minutes to set the paint permanent. If you plan on keeping the paint onto the glasses, then wait a few days before putting in the dishwasher.
Ta Da! <3
