How well you can read emotions of others just by looking at them and judging their actions? Are you (like me) kind of in tune with this sense, and pride yourself on being able to read people? I read a lot, and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with this ability.
The ability to read the emotions of others is linked to "social intelligence" which, in turn, is linked to performance on team-based problem solving tasks, and it's also linked to being more comfortable in many social situations!

My Score...I'm Emotionally Intelligent!

If you want to find out your social intelligence ranking, take this quiz! Put together by people at Harvard, it should help you rank yourself.
One way that you can improve your emotional intelligence is -- get this -- by reading!!! I think that's why my score is high, because I read so much!! This video explains more in depth, but basically, when you read, you practice engaging the parts of your brain that help you to make these judgments, so you become better at these actions in real life, too.
What do you think -- are you emotionally intelligent? Can you relate to others simply through an understanding of their emotions? Let me know your score in the comments :)
I wouldn't fret over it because I don't know what to do with this new found intelligence lol @drwhat
So I'm going to assume if I got a 30, that's good...
@danidee @StefanyDuenas Overachievers, dammit! hah
