The weather is warming up, so it’s time to bring out those ice and slice some lemons. Besides water, lemonade is my favorite summer drink! It's quenches my thirst and opens up my palate to enjoy my food better (not sure if that makes sense). Anyways, to make good lemonade of any kind you need a good base recipe. Ready to learn my secret?

Lemonade Base Recipe:

1 1/2 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup sugar cane or sugar
5 cups water

Strawberry Lemonade

Lemonade Base + 1/2 blended strawberries

Watermelon Lemonade

Lemonade Base + 5 cups fresh watermelon juice

Mint Lime-Ade

lemonade base (replace with lime) + 2 springs fresh mint (chopped)

Pomegranate Pink Lemonade

Lemonade base + 1 1/2 cups pomegranate juice

Pomegranate lemonade sounds so good. I totally agree with @AlohaJPark! Not only do you get that great pink lemonade color, but you get all the added antioxidants of pomegranate juice.
So simple! I'll be trying the pomegranate lemonade for an outdoor BBQ this Friday.
Watermelon Lemonade! I never tried it but I'm guessing it'll be the perfect amount of sweet and tartiness.
