I was truly shocked that he lost, but yes, we're definitely still behind you!
I've requested it already @goldtigerzz . Thanls! Yup, I respect Manny, especially this attitude in times like this. I've been watching his local interviews and indeed his live is a testimony of who God is. God bless you too.
We should have boxing tag, how about asking vingle to add it? you can do that in Vingle party. BTW, I was also watching that game since I'm a Korean boxing fan. If you are a boxing fan, it means you respect Pac man. God Bless you too. I also love you!

Ronda Rousey Is Finally Beaten!
This was indeed one of the most shocking upsets in sports history. Many experts and fans expected the match to be one-sided but not Holly Holm. She came out aggressively against the reigning UFC bantamweight champion. And Ronda Rousey, who was undefeated up to this point, was finally beaten by Holly Holm. She is now 12-1 as a professional MMA fighter. This is the moment in which Holly Holm becomes the second female bantamweight champion in UFC history. Ronda Rousey's six consecutive run of the champion title was finally over with this KO. After the match was over, Holly Holm said, “I’m trying to take it in, but it’s crazy. Everything that we worked on presented itself in the fight. Every kind of grab that she tried to get.” The match lasted 5 minutes and 59 seconds total. Ronda Rousey's previous three matches lasted 34 seconds, 14 seconds, and 16 seconds. @ButterflyBlu @superiorsl @Starbell808 @DonnaMelton @InPlainSight @jokes @BEAUTYgirlARIEL @David19Flo23 @karencorchado @salahabdalla @Moose892 @BrookieyElba @SamuelRodriguez @ValerieAlissaPa @xitlalicordova1 @AndrewMaldonado @Jovi @Shippudenguy21 @AbdulrahmanSaad @trinityarcangel @thefeels @Link4TW @ChriSingularis @sanazsanaz @WilliamBrown @DannyMoses @ClaySharko @Ravenwing92 @FromBlue2U @TravisBeck @LemissaNicole @BossDominata @gatorchick96 @MatthewBoughton @MarcusJiles @BrandonMcNeil @MalikLawary @KyleBerke @manbungo2000 @DerekGumtow @havic @Straightshooter @PhilAnthony @Kirooken @yaakattackk @RodneyYoung @DreJones @JonathanKerns @bnzattoni @TravisManning @GalacticChakra @smothgreen @afxs @johnnolastname @ChristopherKenn @ChasePage @coreywriley91@MikeWolf @MrTenThirty @JasonNilsson @BrunoDutch @SherzTYC @krishntejanand @addri @ChrisStephens @AniBreo Did you guys all watch the match?
30 for 30: How Rocky Balboa Ended the Cold War
I don't think it's any surprise that I enjoy the Rocky movies. Sure the series kind of hit this weird place as it got more and more sequels but there was something really awesome about them anyway. They were bad but they were good at the same time and I don't really know how else to explain it than that. So when I came across CollegeHumor's parody 30 for 30 about Rocky vs. Ivan Drago, I couldn't resist and just had to watch it. I already knew I was going to enjoy it because the previous one they did with Angels in the Outfield was amazing. There's so much to love about this 30 for 30 and one of the main things that makes it so great is how they take the tone so seriously. Sure they're talking about a boxing movie but every one in the clip take it so seriously. And at times, you could probably take some of the interview clips out of context and confuse your friends by making them think that it's a real documentary. Although, there's one quote from the 30 for 30 that made me crack up so hard because he says it seriously even though it's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard: Just to give you an idea of how hard these guys were punching, sometimes the punch didn't even land but the head flew back anyway. Like from the air or something... This quote totally gets one of the reasons why some of the Rocky movies are so ridiculous. One of the reasons going back to these older movies is difficult is because a lot of the actual boxing scenes don't look believable. The way they miss punches in order to not really hurt each other is important but also very ridiculous when you see that they could've shot it a little better. I sincerely hope they do more of these 30 for 30s with other sports movies, so far they're knocking it out of the park (get it, get it? That's a sports thing).
Why Ronda Rousey is an Inspiration
Ronda Rousey, the number one woman MMA fighter is currently a hot topic all over the web. Some people might think she's over-hyped but there are many reason why she is loved! 1. She works hard to get to where she's at! Ronda had a history of training before challenging Miesha Tate and take over the title as Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. If you watch the documentation above, her mom said, "She went from being introduced as AnnMaria's daughter to me being introduced as Ronda's mom. That flip came around when she was 16." On top of that she trained hard to win the Olympic medal for Judo. 2. She's determined. Yes, she's talented and skilled. But I also think the reason why she earn the championship is she doesn't stop trying. She has a vision and she worked towards it. 3. She's positive body image role model. Back in February, she modeled for Sport Illustrated's 2015 Swimsuit issue. Ronda told SI why she isn't going to take this for granted. “I was so happy to have this opportunity because I really do believe that there shouldn’t be one cookie cutter body type that everyone is aspiring to be." In addition, she also GAINED weight for the photoshoot. “I felt like I was much too small for a magazine that is supposed to be celebrating the epitome of a woman. I wanted to be at my most feminine shape, and I don’t feel my most attractive at 135 pounds, which is the weight I fight at. At 150 pounds, I feel like I’m at my healthiest and my strongest and my most beautiful.” But just like all of us, she wasn't always proud of her image. She told Cosmo, “I grew up thinking that because my body type was uncommon, it was a bad thing. Now that I’m older, I’ve really begun to realize that I’m really proud that my body has developed for a purpose and not just to be looked at.” 4. She's the type of friend we all want. If someone ever talk trash about her family or loved ones. She'll shut you up in 34 seconds. 5. She's proud of her achievement. If there's something to take away from Ronda it is.... Don't stop believing, work hard, and be proud at what you do!
How-To: Crack Chicken
My Crack Chicken sauce recipe for all you lovers of chicken that's savory and sweet at the same time! This is something REALLY SIMPLE that you can make for Valentine's Day that you can eat alone or with a loved one. Crack Chicken Sauce: 1 1/2 C Sweet n Sour marinade/sauce 1/2 C Soy sauce 1/2 C Ketchup 1/3 C Plum Sauce 1/4 C Sherry/rice wine Whisk together. Set aside. Chicken Prep: 1/2 Cup chopped red onion (or more) 2 Garlic cloves (or more) boneless chicken cut into pieces. (I prefer thighs as these have richer flavor and remain moist unlike white meat.) Cooking Chicken: In a wide sauce pan add a couple tablespoons of sesame oil Drop in minced garlic and onions. Aromatics cook about 1-2 minutes Pat chicken dry then add salt and pepper Drop chicken into pan (make sure chicken touches pan and not lumped all over) DON'T STIR IT! Let it sit 60-90 seconds Flip--DON'T STIR IT! Cook 60-90 seconds Chicken is not cooked--don't worry! Blot excess moisture with a paper towel--BE CAREFUL! Pour HALF of Crack Chicken Sauce and stir--reduce heat and cover until chicken is cooked. Won't take long--maybe 10 minutes. Watch it. Add salt and pepper as needed to taste. Let me know if you try this and if you like it. Also, if you have any great recommendations or alterations to this recipe, let me know! @jordanhamilton @AlloBaber @humairaa @jcl4rks0n @AimeBolanos @alywoah @CiciRoman @paulisaghost @LizArnone @lisbt92 @Dragon0fTime @KassamRajput @Arellano1052 @ChangThao @YlianaVera @BuffyFHK @Dynamo @GiGie @JayllaMarie @MableWaddles
Filipino artist Eisen Bernardo combines magazine covers with classic art
Eisen Bernardo unites classical and modern in his latest project "Mag + Art", combining contemporary magazine covers with classic portraits by artists like Pablo Picasso, Frida Kahlo, and John Singer Sargent. (It's sort of strange how well some of these blend in with one another!) I'm not quite sure of the statement the artist is trying to make. Are we likening Hollywood celebrities to the muses of some of the most esteemed fine artists? Or was this just to point out coincidences? Either way, these images are extremely amusing to look at! --------------------------------------------------------------- Photo 1: Natalie Portman, W Magazine May 2005 + "Portrait of Frances Sherborne Ridley Watts" by John Singer Sargent Photo 2: Prince, Billboard Magazine January 2013 + "Portrait of Theodore Roosevelt by John Singer Sargent" Photo 3: Kirsten Dunst, Esquire Russia February 2012 + "Good Companions" by Vittorio Reggianini Photo 4: Robert Pattinson, Vanity Fair Italy March 2010 + "The Skater (portrait of William Grant)" by Gilbert Stuart Photo 5: Gwen Stefani, InStyle Magazine April 2010 + "The Letter" by Auguste Toulmouche Photo 6: Katherine Heigl, Harper's Bazaar Ukraine August 2010 + "Rita Granadina" by George Owen Wynne Apperley Photo 7: Prince William, Vanity Fair Spain April 2011 + "Portrait of Monsieur M," William-Adolphe Bouguereau Photo 8: Gwen Stefani, InStyle Magazine November 2011 + "Dolce Far Niente" by John William Godward Photo 9: Philip Seymour Hoffman, Esquire Malaysia + "Frieda y Diego Rivera" by Frida Kahlo Photo 10: Charlize Theron, W Magazine February 2012 + "Poker Night (from A Streetcar Named Desire)" by Thomas Hart Benton
