Spa Date On A Budget: Homemade Face Masks
When the word spa comes to mind, you immediately think serene and relaxing -- while trying to block out the irrational, insane prices in the back of our mind. Welcome to America. What if you could have the spa experience for the low? Well, you can! All you need is a kitchen, a few natural household items and a quiet space. *sigh* Oh, the luxuries of being frugal and fabulous.
Most people go to a spa for one of two things: a massage or a facial. In our case, we are all for facials. Clean, refreshed skin is a must, especially in the warm humid months upon us. You have permission to put your wallet and pride to the side this one time. Open up your pantry and refrigerator -- you never knew you had an active spa in your kitchen, did you? All those products you've been hoarding are going to come in handy for those endless facials you treat yourself to this summer.
It's easy to mix and match ingredients, but of course some ingredients work better together than others. That's where we come in and help you out. These three recipes will leave your skin glowing, clean and rejuvenated for little to nothing. Are you zen'd out yet? If not, you better get ready. Dim your lights, turn on some relaxing tunes, mix up some ingredients and relax. Ahhh, now doesn't that feel amazing?
