China Glaze Launching Coloured Nail Spray Next Month
A few months ago I wrote about Nails Inc. launching an innovative nail polish spray and it looks like it didn't take too long for other companies to jump on the bandwagon. Popular nail polish brand, China Glaze is scheduled to launch their Coloured Nail Spray this April in Ulta retailers across the country. The nail spray comes in an assortment of four colors in total consisting of Purple Shimmer, Magenta Shimmer, Bright Blue, and Platinum Silver. Similar to the Nails Inc. formula, you apply the China Glaze spray the same way starting with a base coat followed up by the spray. You allow your nails to dry then you apply the top coat and within 5 minutes you nails are all done. Four editors from Cosmopolitan had the opportunity of trying out the nail spray and giving their honest opinion. If you're interested in what they had to say, keep scrolling and check out the video below. Polish Color: Purple Shimmer "I'm digging this spray-on nail polish because it even works on top of gel polish that has run its course. Time always escapes me, so the fact that I can just spray and go on top of an old mani makes me feel like I have my life together in a matter of minutes." โ€”Maya Polish Color: Magenta Shimmer "Everything about spray-on nail polish feels counterintuitive to me. When I'm painting my nails with a brush, I'm doing everything I can not to get the polish on my skin. I definitely felt a little like, 'This is wrong,' while I was spraying, but also, maybe it was pretty cool as far as gimmicks go? There's barely any dry time involved, which is cool. And washing the polish off my hands was really easy and fun. It's not the most precise manicure I've ever had, but for sheer speed, it's great." โ€”Helin Polish Color: Bright Blue I really liked how easily and evenly the polish went on and how quickly it came off of my skin! I did notice that when I sprayed it on, I had to keep my hand flat so the polish wouldn't dry unevenly. I also chipped a few of my nails soon after I sprayed it on, so I don't think it's the longest-lasting mani I'll ever have, but it's amazing for a quick nail switch-up for a night out! โ€”Carly Polish Color: Platinum Silver "I loved it! It's definitely the easiest way to get your nails done in a flash. It literally smelled just like the men's cologne section of Bloomingdales and the best part? It was so easy to take off!" โ€”Alex Talk about convenient? Every Lazy Girl Needs A Pair Of Pedicure Pantyhose
It's that time of the year again. Pedicured toes and open toe shoes. Ladies, we all know that it's forbidden to wear your toes out if they look like 'who done it'. Not everyone has the time and coins to get a pedicure biweekly, nor does everyone have the patience to paint their own toes and have them look halfway decent, but that's okay. For all you ladies who want to rock the open toe shoes, but your toes aren't currently up to par, don't sweat it -- there's now a product on the market that will benefit the lazy girl in you. Introducing, pedicure stockings. As if we couldn't take it any further, this product has taken it far enough. The Japanese trend features a pair of stockings that has each toe topped with a faux nail design imitating the idea that your toes are indeed on fleek. The realistic looking pair of stocking can be purchased [here] and will run you about $15 per pair. Much more affordable than going to get a pedicure. While the idea is extremely clever, I much rather spend the extra ten to fifteen dollars and go get a pedicure. Unlike a manicure, you don't have to go as frequently to touch up your toes. The only downside to this product is that the site is in Japanese, find yourself someone who can read the language or suck it up and go get a pedicure. What do you think about this innovative product? Would you invest in a pair to rock when you're lazy? @EasternShell @alywoah @TessStevens @shannonl5 @LizArnone @atmi @humairaa @waanderer @hikaymm @jazziejazz @primodiva93 @danidee @cindystran @MyAffairWith @marshalledgar @Jasminep96 @amobigbang @grapetoes20000
5 Nail Products To Keep Your Cuticles On Fleek
This past weekend I made a decision that I literally contemplated for hours. Growing up, I was the queen of acrylic nails. They were my life, but two years ago I decided I would keep it natural and rock my own nails because -- why not? For the past two years I've been growing out my natural nails and the journey has been beautiful. They are strong, long and I honestly, don't even miss acrylic one bit. I started to get manicures every other week because I like to keep my nails and toes up to par, but I was finding that my nails would chip and/or smudge sometimes hours after my appointment. It became rather frustrating and I decided I would save money and start doing them myself, but nothing changed. My nails would chip like crazy and I got to the point where I didn't even waste the time putting on polish anymore. For a woman who loves painted nails, it was tough. I finally seeing color on my nails and I got to the point where I decided I would just go for it. But what's the point in getting a manicure that wont even last two days? That's when I did the unthinkable and got gel. While I was used to getting gel on my acrylic nails, I had never gotten gel on my natural nails and I had heard the horror stories. My nails had come a long way over the years and I didn't want something as simple as a couple coats of gel to destroy my nails. I went through with it and immediately fell in love. While I know the risks of brittle nails, etc. -- I have also stumbled across a few products that might just help in keeping my nails strong and healthy. If you happen to be going through the same issue or you just want to show your nails some much needed TLC, keep scrolling and check out these amazing products below.
