"The Nightmare" Explores Sleep Paralysis
Sleep paralysis is something that I didn't know existed until a couple of months ago and it sounds terrifying.
One of my best friends described to me one of the nights he "got" (I don't really know how to word it) sleep paralysis and as he was talking I think I was getting scared for him. He eventually told me that he just "rides it out" and hopes it goes away.
The Nightmare, directed by Rodney Ascher (who also directed the doc. about The Shining, Room 237) comes out today (June 5th, 2015).
Check out the trailer below and let me know what you think. I personally hope it delves into why this happens, I'm really interested in the science behind it all.

@timeturnerjones, yeah I'm not usually one for movies that terrify/horrify/etc. me, but I'm really interested in the subject matter so I feel like I HAVE to go see it

@paulisaverage I think this is a good exception to "avoid terrifying movies" rules
