MASTERPIECE OF CATASTROPHES
Stuck in a circle of catastrophe In this field I have complete mastery Thinking thoughts of blasphemy Something about it's satisfactory In my mind hangs a tapestry of fantasy Of a life where I live happily But it's only a fallacy Maybe I'm exaggerating drastically But a hole grows massively inside me Creating a masterpiece of disaster Cutting me down faster and faster After this I don't know what I'll be And that frightens me

This is a very full poem, like when I"m reading it I'm imagining saying the words out loud and they're really, really filling my mouth--every word has so much in it.

What I like best about this poem is the way it reads off the page to me. I feel like it has a great potential to be read as a spoken word or slam piece, with a faster beat. nice work!
