We all know the drill... you pull your favorite sweater out of the wash and it has these weird balls (called fabric pills) hanging off of it — so annoying. Fear not! Here are some tips on getting rid of those fabric pills and get your clothes back to new.
TIP #1: ELECTRIC RAZOR
You can use an electric razor and move the razor over the garment (don't press the razor down on the piece of clothing). You should use an electric razor that men use (borrow your dad's or your bf's). The fabric pills will come right off.
TIP #2: RAZOR BLADE
You can also use a single razor blade and scrap the fabric pills in one direction off of the piece of clothing. Be careful to not press down on the fabric and hold the blade at a slight angle.
TIP #3: DUCT TAPE
Cut off a piece of tape and push it against the fabric. Then, pull the tape up and the fabric pills will cling to the tape.
TIP #4: VELCRO
You can use a velcro fastener and the fabric pills will come off in the velcro attachment. Don't press on the piece of clothing too hard or you will pull up more fabric than you want to remove.
TIP #5: A FINE-TOOTHED COMB
You can also used a fine-toothed comb and comb down the fabric. The fabric pills will go into the teeth of the comb.
