Waxahatchee's Ivy Tripp came out this past April and it is so good, I don't even know where to start. The first track off the album would probably be the best place, though.
The edit above of the opening track off the album (Breathless) with the visuals of a moving train is mesmerizing.
The slow tempo of the song juxtaposed against the speed of the train gives off a feeling of serenity and sickness (I mean that in a good way!). The moments when the train stops are welcomed but I often found myself anticipating when it would move again.
It's kind of strange but at the same time I think it's beautiful and entrancing. But what about y'all? How did it make you feel? Lemme know what you thought below!
