More and more idols from all around the world are making their mark in the K-pop industry. Here are 5 of my favorites.
Jackson Wang is originally from Hong Kong, where he was initially training to be a fencing champion. He was scouted by JYP Entertainment in 2010. He is a rapper, singer, and dancer in Got7 and has made multiple other appearances in variety shows and as a MC. His go to phrase is "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." His light-hearted personality and funny experiences in shows like iGot7 and Roommate wins the hearts of fans.
Amber Liu is originally from California and was cast from S.M. Entertainment's global audition in 2008. She is a rapper and singer in f(x) and is also popular in the variety world and for her YouTube appearances on the EatYourKimchi channel. Amber is known to have a llama obsession, which she proudly shares on her Twitter.
Henry Lau is originally from Canada and was also cast from S.M. Entertainment's global audition in 2006. He is a member of Super Junior and is well known in the variety world and for his recent appearance in the Mnet drama, Persevere, Goo Hae Ra. In the drama, he played as Henry and showed fans his funny and goofy side.
Takuya Terada is originally from Japan and debuted with Cross Gene in 2012. I was not aware of Cross Gene before, but found out about the group after watching Takuya's great acting in the Mnet drama, The Lover.
Bambam is originally from Thailand and debuted with Got7 in 2014. He is often mistaken for the maknae of the group due to his silly antics and adorable expressions on shows and performances. He is probably one of the K-pop idols that makes the best use of aegyo.
