I really like these nails! Per usual these are my real nails and I did not go to the salon. Honestly, this design took me a LONG time. Whenever I do my nails, I make sure I block out a couple hours so they can dry properly. So, typically this is during a weekend when I have a lot of time to waste. My inspiration for these nails are the one and only... FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY! I went there for undergrad and it was one of the best decisions I made to attend there. With these nails, I started with a base coat. Then, I applied a garnet polish to my nails. I let that coat dry. Then, I used an old gold polish with shimmer diagonally. Let that dry and then trace the outer gold area with a black nail polish using a precision control brush (Kiss Nail Art Paint). I also used a white and a silver precision control brush to create vertical lines! Then seal with a top coat! Happy painting. πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ’…πŸ’… Instagram: msrivers_1
