12 large strawberries, the bigger the better 1-2 oz semi or bittersweet chocolate 1 TBS sugar ( optional ) whipped cream ( from spray can ) cocoa powder ( optional) preheat oven to 400 ° f cut stems and tips off of the strawberries so they can stand using a melon baller or small spoon scoop out the top to make a cavity and arrange in baking dish ( I used an 8x8 square glass dish ) fill each cavity with chocolate if using sugar sprinkle on now and bake until the chocolate has melted (approx 10-12 mins) to serve: arrange 3 strawberries on plate in a triangle. if there is any liquid under strawberries spoon on top. spray a mound if whipped cream into the middle of the triangle and a small amount on the tops of each berry sprinkle with cocoa powder if desired
Yeah, I think TOO much sweet would be too intense. I'm the same way.
Not much change that I've noticed the sugar helps but I enjoy the tartness of the berries against the sweetness of the cream and chocolate. also the bitterness of the cocoa powder.
Roasted strawberries!? Could you add the recipe to this card!
Then I definitely recommend omitting the TBS of sugar!!
