I love you, but you're rubbing off on me and not in a good way. I give you the attention you need daily, but you always find some way or another to rub off onto my clothes and get under my nails.
What happened to personal space? I know we've been seeing each other for a few years now, but there are still certain boundaries I need for you to respect. I don't wear white shirts for you to leave your traces behind.
Give me some space. PLEASE.
I follow the steps needed so that you always look flawless, but you're never appreciative. I prime you, I bronze you and I powder you.
What more do you want?
I'll do whatever needs to be done, but you constantly showing up on my good clothes and underneath my clean nails is not okay.
Please know that this is not coming from a cruel place, but it's all love. They say distance makes the heart grow fonder. When I remove you at night before I fall asleep, I don't expect to see you lingering on the collars of my jackets and every piece of clothing I wore that day. Somethings got to give.
If you can't learn to give me some space, we will have to part ways for awhile. I know a break isn't what you want right now, but it may be for the best. Let's try and come to a mutual agreement. I can't wear mascara or lipstick on a bare face, the look wouldn't be complete. I don't need you, but I want you.
