Like a lot of rock stars, Brandon likes to draw on the old world of men's fashion while dabbling with newer elements. Here, we get a 50's vibe with the cut of his shirt, but a new flare with the color, radiant orchid, 2015's Pantone color of the year.
Pair an easy breezy shirt with dressier pants or skinny jeans to achieve the Desired Effect look. Pun intended.
Structured button downs and dark jeans are always in for Fall on the male and female side. Here, Brandon rocks a navy blue button down, dark wash jeans and sneaks. Achieve this look with a striped T, Jacket and dark jeans as well. For Brandon, button-downs of any kind are a staple. This look strikes a balence between rock and roll and polished prep, perfect for work or a night out. This red jacket is a total statement piece. Here it's paired with a starched, white shirt and subtly patterned pants. Mixing textures and patterns works if done right, and here it's definitely right. Women can achieve this menswear look with a collar bow, white button down, black skinny jeans and a male inspired red jacket like Brandon's.
Saint Laurent has outfitted Brandon for much of his Desired Effect tour. These looks are literally right off the runway, and cost more than I could ever afford. The metallic/black look of this jacket can be achieved with this jacket from Michael Kors at 550 dollars, compared to the over 4,000 dollar price tag touted by Brandon's.
