While it's not uncommon, it's not exactly business-as-usual. I'm talking about the post-nuptial breakfast (or brunch). Martha Stewart shared this low-key breakfast idea on social media and it's so pretty!
I love the easy, unfussy, yet rustic vibe this table has. There's fresh flowers in all types of vessels running the middle of the table. Not a candle in sight! Make note of that. This isn't a time for romantic ambiance. The look should be brighter, clean and basic. That doesn't mean you can't bring out your favorite china. Just temper it with a simplistic style.
Will you be incorporating a breakfast event to your wedding plans? Is it something your parents are throwing for your out-of-town guests?
TIP: Don't overlook throwing the breakfast event at the hotel of your guests. This will make it easy on the mind and body to waking up and going to another function, albeit a simple breakfast. Don't require guests to tromp all over town for eggs and bacon. Not cool.
