"B*tch I'm Madonna"

"Who do YOU think you are!?"

Madonna is back with another provocative song but this time she's going after Taylor Swift. The 56-year-old legend is pulling all the stops creating her own 'Bad Blood' type of video. She's recruited the top names in the industry : Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Rita Ora, Chris Rock, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Alexander Wang, Diplo, David Banda, and Kanye to make cameos in the video. Minaj saves the song a bit with her incredible rap. Anyways, that's quite the line up. Better than Taylor Swift's?

Here's the cameos...

This was the Instagram pic that caused an uproar on social media pointing fingers at Madonna saying she copied Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood'. However, imitation is the nicest form of flattery. But really though... It's exactly the same. Pathetic.
Here's some more publicity pictures Madonna posted to hype the music video up.
The music video debuted on a music sharing service called Tidal. Tidal had a 24 hour advantage as it was the only music service to have the music video posted. Today, VEVO gained the rights to the music video so now most of the public can see the video without having to subscribe and pay for the service.

More BAD BLOOD?

Here's the music video. Slightly catchy once you listen to it for a few minutes. Overall though it was a crappy attempt to rip on Tswift and it was a bizarre video. Madonna is now too old to be a pop star but she's holding on for dear life. Kinda sad. I guess she's still young at heart.

I wonder if Madonna will do well with this song...

I really didn't like the song but there is no denying that Madonna can still perform her ass off!
I kind of enjoyed the video (it's a technicolor mess but I'm like a toddler I love bright colors and shiny things haha)- the song itself didn't do it for me. It's catchy, until that awful scratching noise at the end. It sounded like a bad dubstep ripoff to me. Nicki Minaj was great though.
I have never been so disappointed in my life before.
Absolutely disgusting!

SNL Perfectly Captures White Peoples Response To Beyonce.
Its been a week since the infamous half time show where the world finally seemed to realize that Beyonce was actually black. Ok, Ok, I'm kidding....kind of. But its been a week since she performed "Formation" and a week since her bad ass music video dropped as well and people are freaking the fuck out. It seems that a black artist taking advantage of such a public setting to use her art as a show of self expression and representation for serious issues her race is facing is just ... INSANITY! The internet has exploded with people criticizing Beyonce for "bashing police" and for being inappropriate to talk about police brutality at a sporting event. Sorry she made you feel so uncomfortable fellow white people. But the truth is, the song wasn't meant of us (although it is actually amazing.) And I'm confused how we can think we can comment and critique someones dialogue when it has NEVER happened to us. We white people can't actually understand being afraid of the police since we never had to be. Check out SNL's perfect skit that points out just how fucking cray everyone went...the day they realize Beyonce was black. Oh and by the way, she isn't a hypocrite in having police protecting her. Calling out Police brutality isn't calling all police bad, its pointing out that there are some people in power who are making the world unsafe for certain people. And that is not ok. Saying #alllivesmatter is the same as saying #notallmen. Pointless and uneducated.
Madonna Reflects on Her Brief Romance with Tupac Shakur (Wait, What?)
Yesterday Madonna was invited on the Howard Stern Show for a reveal-all interview where she talked about a number of hot topics, including her history of drug use (used to, but not anymore!) and her on-again-off-again friendship with Rosie O'Donnell ("I adore her!"). But perhaps her biggest reveal was when Howard brought up her 1994 appearance on 'The Late Show with David Letterman', controversial for her liberal use of the f-bomb. She cursed so much that it went on to become the most censored episode of any late night talk show in history! "I was mad at [Letterman] when I said the F-word a lot. I was in a weird mood that day," Madonna explained. "I was dating Tupac Shakur at the time and the thing is he got me all riled up on life in general. So when I went on the show I was feeling very gangsta." What, what? I don't know what's more brow-raising - the idea of Madonna and Tupac dating, or the fact that dating Tupac apparently brought out Madonna's inner 'gangsta'. According to E!, the couple first were introduced through Rosie Perez, as revealed by Rosie during an interview with Wendy Williams last year. And "Madonna: Like An Icon", an unauthorized biography published in 2007, claimed the two briefly dated one year before Shakur's death. Because of that, Madonna figured it was public knowledge by now. But no, Madge. It really wasn't. And now after seeing this 1994 headline from The Globe, I know I should really be paying more attention to the tabloids.
