Videogame Items We Need in Real Life
You ever find yourself playing a videogame and thinking, "damn, I wish I had one of those"? There are just some items in games that are so cool and useful that we can't help but want them in our real life. Here are a list of 5 items that we desperately need in the real world.

The Keyblade - Kingdom Hearts Series

To start off this list, we have the Keyblade, legendary weapon of the Kingdom Hearts universe. The Keyblade is a unique weapon that chooses its wielder and is the only weapon with the power to defeat the Heartless.
This is something that we need to have in real life, not only for its cool look and power, but also because of its ability to open any lock. You'd no longer have to worry about forgetting your keys somewhere, because you'd always have this Keyblade with you, whether you carry it or not. That's another cool thing: it just appears in your hand when you summon it.

The Rod of Seasons - Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons

This item is the most important tool in Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. Imbued with the power of all four seasons, the Rod is immensely powerful, able to change the season with just a swing.
Just think of the possibilities! Maybe it's a scorching hot day, and you just need to cool off a little bit. One swing and BAM! it's a cool Autumn day. Or maybe it's the dead of winter, and you've been freezing for months with no release. One swing and you'll be sitting poolside in no time. Sure, agriculture might suffer, but hey! instant gratification!

Full Restore - Pokemon Series

"What is that confusing jumble of pixels right there?", you ask.bewilderedly. Well, my friend, that right there is what is known in the Pokemon universe as a Full Restore. As you might infer from it's name, a Full Restore fully heals your pokemon of its health and any status affliction it might have.
This would be freakin' monumental! Never in the game does it say that Full Restores can't be used on people. This means that we could potentially cure any disease or injury with a simple topical spray. And even if it turns out people can't use it, it would cut vetinary medicine costs down to nearly nothing. Imagine a world where man's best friend never had to worry about being sick or injured.
That's a world I want to live in.

Gravity Gun - Half Life series

The Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator, better known as the Gravity Gun, is one of the most iconic and recognizable weapons in all of Half-Life. Using complicated science and physics, it is able to pick up and manipulate small objects. More awesomely, it's able to shoot these small objects at a high velocity, doing a bunch of damage to baddies.
I think the significance for this item is clear; you would be able to lift things and move them with virtually no effort expended on your part. More than that, you would be able to clear paths and knock aside obstructions without batting an eye.

Portal Gun - Portal 1 & 2

This is the definitive best item that anyone could have, ever. Seriously, the uses are nearly limitless. The Portal gun opens two connected portals in space, with seemingly no limit on the distance between them. In the games, Chell uses the gun to successfully complete a series of potentially lethal experiments as well as take down two homicidal AIs.
The use of this gun in your regular life would be boundless. Want a quick way to get to work? Leave a portal there and one in your apartment. Have a particularly annoying friend? Open a portal underneath them that leads anywhere else. The gun can fire great distances - even to the moon - and so travel is made all that much easier. Combine it with some long-fall boots and you're golden.
