The V Spot: Latin-Inspired Vegan Restaurant in New York
The V-Spot, a New York Latin vegan food spot is will open their doors at their new location on 12 Mark's Place in the East Village. On June 20th and 21st, they will launch a "soft" opening from between 1:00PM and 9:00PM.
If you're looking for vegan, kosher, and organic eats -- here's your place. The restaurant has flavors and dishes ranging from a breakfast scramble to Jamaican jerk. They also offer gluten-free options such as kale tostadas and a quinoa curried kale.
They beat their Kickstarter goal of $50,000 and 295 backers pledged $50,673.
According to The V-Spot's Facebook page, they will have Latin, Organic, Vegan comfort food ready to serve! For their "soft" opening, the East Village location will be sampling small bites and vending baked empanadas.
If you'd like to visit their Brooklyn location, they are located at 156 5th Avenue in Brooklyn.
Who said the Latin cuisine can't be healthy, vegan, kosher, AND organic?!

Yeah, I'd say that normal tostadas would work just fine! @Danidee
