[3 Mins] Zayn Malik's Brush Up Hairstyle

Guys, this one is for you. I've been receiving messages specifically for men hairstyles so today is finally the day -- the first men hairstyles collection debuts! I think it'll give some balance to this community. I'll start by covering the effortless and trendy haircuts for men.
Currently, one of the trendiest hairstyles for men is the Brush Up style. It was influenced by Zayn Malik, the former One Direction singer. This style is similar to a quiff except all the hair is lifted up instead of just the forelock. The sides and back of your head are trimmed in a short taper haircut, fade haircut or even in an Undercut haircut. If you naturally curly hair you will want to go for a taper cut.
Take a look at the video below and see how the cut is done.
Styling Point: The hair on the top is lifted up in a carelessly, effortless style. The hair on the top of the head acquires upward vertical volume by lifting it up with your fingers, but you do also need to use a hair dryer to really ensure that your mane stands up in a chaotic-albeit-aesthetic manner.
Below is a tutorial on how to style the hair. It's simple, easy and can be done within 3 minutes.

Pulling Teeth With Coconut Oil
I haven't used tooth paste in a year or so. And at 38 years old, still cavity-free! That's because I use a fabulous (and natural) method called oil-pulling. There isn't a toothpaste on the planet (that I know of) that can do these six things, and not contain hazardous material such as bleach, sodium fluoride, triclosan, and sodium lauryl sulfate, just to name a few. Do I brush my teeth? Of course! But I do so before I pull with oil and again right after. I am sharing this card with you because it because a hot topic in the comments of @JordanHamilton's card about Washing Your Toothbrush, which you can see here. Here's how I go about making my own in batches: Ingredients: * Natural coconut oil * Peppermint essential oil * Eucalyptus essential oil * Myrrh essential oil Tools: * Sheet pan (that fits in the freezer) * Aluminum foil * Miniature paper candy cups * Squeeze bottle (with a tip) 1. Place a sheet of aluminum foil over a baking sheet (to catch your drips, drops and mistakes). 2. Set out as many candy paper cups that you can fit onto the sheet. 3. Melt the oil and place into a squeeze bottle. 4. Carefully, fill each cup ALMOST TO THE TOP. Leave a smidge of space at the top. 5. Add ONE DROP of each of your essential oils to the cups. Go in order so you don't get confused. 6. Place the tray on a flat surface in the freezer. A fridge will work too. 7. Be sure to simply lay a sheet of aluminum foil over the tray. Don't seal it, just lay it. 8. Let these harden all the way and store them in a freezer ziplock bag in the fridge. I hope you all found this super helpful. This is super easy and doable. I hope you give this a try. @alywoah @TurtleyTurtles @keith2web @LAVONYORK @EasternShell @Animaniafreak @atmi @kekers96 @buddyesd @DevonArce @MaricelvaRomero @CallMeMsDragon @stephosorio @petname83 @rhanes @AlyssaGelet818 @DeniseNishikawa @AlexisRiver @AlyssaGelet818 @ScarletMermaid @kimnam94 @SarahRegulski @MikeyJBenedict @LysetteMartinez @BlackXShield @YunBao @darcmana @daljiyong @FalseLove @anitadutoit @MyAffairWith @SarahHm11 @moralesdaisy199 @yashiracruz @leinyhmen01 @SigDev @humairaa @SeoInHan @IzamarPalomo @JelliBelli111 @spacewasp @PrincessNae @karolinehoffma
The Top #3 Pop Singles Of The Week
Hello. Perfect. Sorry. This week, three major pop icons released new music videos with their current number one hits. They are completely different from one another but amazing in their own right. Obviously most of the publicity has been garnered by Adele since this is her first debut in just under 5 years. One Direction had the limelight last week and Justin Bieber's current single has been slightly out-shined but he dominated the media last month with "What Do You Mean". Which hit this week is your favorite? Sorry Why is this a fun tune? : It's very aux-cord worthy and you can totally see yourself dancing to this in the bar. It's catchy and very similar to previous songs debuted within his album. Bieber is back and stronger than ever. Maybe he's finally becoming a mature pop star and I think fans are starting to love that. Who is this song about? : Selena Gomez, duh. Pretty much this entire album is an ode to her and their previous relationship. It's not completely obvious since he doesn't personally interject anything too flashy but it was his longest and most public relationship so it has to stand for something. Should you hit the repeat button? : YES. Hello Why is this so gorgeous? : It's haunting. It's stunning. It's heart-breaking. The lovely tune turns the tables where it's actually Adele who broke someone else's heart. Recently many pop stars are no longer talking about heart break but more about apologizing, breaking other people's hearts, and learning to move on. However, Adele does it better than anyone else. Who is this song about? : Not quite sure. She's in a happy place right now but it's a single that is a bipolar opposite of what you would have found in her album 21. She's sorry and she's going to sing her beautiful tune about it. Should you hit the repeat button? : YES OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Perfect Why is this song so clever? : It is an identical copy of Swift's "Style". If Taylor Swift is going to get away with writing a song about one of her ex-lovers, there's no reason why one of her ex-lovers can't write a song about her. There are many hints throughout the video that nod towards Swift and it's genius. If you play 'Style' and 'Perfect' overtop one another, you'll notice that they are practically indistinguishable. Who is this song about? : Taylor Swift, DUH. Should you hit the repeat button? : Yes, of course.
The Meaning Behind Anime Hair Colors
For the longest time I've always wondered why Sailor Moon's hair is yellow while Sailor Mercury's hair is blue. Initially I thought it represented the planets they're associated with. However, after digging deeper into Japanese animation I found out hair color is frequently used as a mechanism to differentiate character type and personality. Black Characters with black hair usually have a strong sense of justice. They can be friendly and angry at the same time. Despite, their mysterious nature they are loyal and would do anything for their friends. Personality: Traditional, bipolar and a deep thinker. White Most often characters with white hair is either mysterious, ethereal, or old. If the character is a male, he usually have mix feelings and can be an anti-hero on a random good day. Female with white hair tend to be either magical or spiritual. Personality: Strong-willed, creativity and dignified. Grey Characters with grey hair has a mix persona from white and black. They are independent and usually have hidden powers Personality: Calm, modest and problem solvers. Brown This is a common color for the protagonist and often time they are seen as normal. However, you'll be surprise because characters with this hair color have interesting talents despite their boring appearance. Personality: Charming, practical and approachable. Blue Blue hair colored characters are not the type to seek advice but give advice. You may notice they often play the roles of teachers or confidants. They also have hidden supernatural powers. Personality: Smart, introverted, and mature Red Just like the color, characters with red hair are hot blooded. Most of the time they are feisty and adventurous. However, some male characters with red hair are more calm and discipline. Personality: Passionate, aggressive and opinionated Yellow Yellow hair characters have many sides. There are mainly different personalities but one thing that unite them is their positive vibe, stubbornness, high energy. You can call them the life of the party. Personality: Naive, confident, and romantic Green Characters with green hair have a unique energy. They're capable of healing and bring peace to destruction. Which is why the are often sided with the protagonist. Personality: Well-rounded, rejuvenating, and trusthworthy Purple These characters are royal and princess-like. They like standing in the spotlight and most of the time are restless and sometimes moody. Personality: Elegant, strong-willed and passionate. Pink This hair color signifies romance and innocence. Characters with this hair are daydreamers and have great desire to bring positive vibe to others. They are also prone to mask their sadness. Personality: Friendly, youthful, and cheerful
Save Your Hair From Color Damage
I was looking through pictures of girl groups hairstyles within a year their hair could change up to 4-5 times. Regular people like myself will probably get their hair done 1-2 times a year. I guess one reason to explain the short lifespan of their hairstyles is kpop fans expect the idols to look different for new comeback and concept. So, before dropping any announcement, Hairstyle is usually one of the biggest hint for comebacks. Truth is their hair must be extremely damage from the excessive use of chemical and heat styling. However, they are celebrities and they must have hair professionals to maintain the health of their hair. Otherwise, we'll be staring at limpy hair, and split ends on stage. Celebrity Hair Secrets: 1. Protein mask. This is normally used to strengthen the hair before styling. 2. Hair serum and oil. A dollop of this will quickly give your hair shine and moisture. 3. Supplements. No matter how many products you use you need to get enough nutrients to maintain over health and beauty. For those of you who color your hair or use heat styling tool often these are the products that can help keep your hair healthy. Nutiva Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Best for dry and damaged hair. Coconut oil is packed with moisturizing benefits. if your strands are extremely dry you can leave this on overnight then wash your hair in the morning to get glossy, healthy hair. Nexus Emergencee Reconstructing Treatment. The texture for this hair pack is really unique. It is gel-like but if you apply it before your hair washing routine you'll end up with super soft hair. Olaplex Hair Perfector No.3. Olaplex is the best hair treatment for pre and post hair coloring. Professional colorist will use it in the coloring process. Sometime coloring the hair might take 1-2 days so a take home treatment will be offered to rebuild broken hair. Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil You can honestly use any hair oil but this is one my favorite. It battles frizz and soften the ends of hair without weighing it down.
Oops! You Stayed Up All Night Reading Fanfiction (Again)
Some people just don't get it. You found a 100K word fic with your favorite tropes and pairings AND it's well-written. The sequel to your favorite fic series just came out and you have to know how it ends. You're pretty sure that John and Sherlock are going to end up together, but you really need to read the whole thing to be certain. Suddenly it's 2am and you're still not done and you have to be up for work in four hours and maybe just one more chapter... It happens. All. The. Time. And in a perfect world calling in late 'because fanfiction' would be a valid excuse, you're probably going to need to get it together before you venture out into the world again. Here's what to do: Drink some water friend. Maybe you were bawling uncontrollably because some evil fic writer hurt your bae. Or maybe those were tears of joy because everything worked out okay. Honestly, no matter what you're probably dehydrated after a marathon night reading fanfiction. Drink a glass of water, and then drink another one. Grab a snack. Did you lose track of time so completely that you have to run out the door? Yeah, you probably did. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day buddy. Grab something tasty to eat so you'll only be craving your otp for the rest of the day. Douse your brain in bleach. That disturbing fic that was too good not to finish? Yeah it's awesome, send me a link, but it's probably not the best topic of conversation at work or school. Brain bleach is selective, use enough of it so that you won't accidentally talk about that hs au abo ot3 fic you found with your boss, but not so much that you forget (to send me a link). You can take it with you. You have to know how it ends. I get it. Take it with you. Archive of Our Own has a bunch of download options, copy-paste that livejournal entry or ff.net chapter into a word document and convert it to a pdf, read it on your phone- print it out if you have to (90s kid style). Do whatever you have to do. We have all been there. You need caffeine. Channel every coffeeshop au you can think of and grab some coffee. Pretend you're not tempted to close your eyes and dream about your otp for the rest of the afternoon. Resist the temptation. I believe in you. (Sterek fanart by youko-shirokiba) Remind yourself this will all be over soon. The crummy obligations of your real life will soon be over, and then you can return to what really matters: reading fanfiction. I'll be right there with you, leaving comments like 'HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME' and suffering the exquisite pain of an otp angst fic.
How To Treat Acne Scars
If you look in the mirror and see acne scars, then you probably walk away frustrated because there's virtually no solution outside of expensive (and painful) laser and filler treatments. But did you know about aloe vera gel? You know, the all natural stuff that you can get at any health food store (and most drug stores) for less than $20! According to Readers Digest, "a 2014 study of 60 participants suffering from mild to severe acne looked at whether adding aloe vera gel to a standard topical retinoid treatment would increase healing." Remarkably, those that combined the cream and the aloe vera gel saw reduced inflammation and significantly reduced scarring. The combination of retinoids, aloe vera and hyaluronic acid contribute to the dramatic efficacy. TIP: Apply both aloe vera gel and your preferred retinol treatment twice a day to see results in about 4 weeks. @jordanhamilton @kaminisingh @alywoah @TessStevens @mikayla @ChelseaHeyes @QueenYuki @KyotieWolf @kristenadams @Donnas @stargaze @flymetothemoon @ImUrBestFriend @galinda @Bekka @RaquelArredondo @jazziejazz @rmayra1 @prgurl4u2envy @DemiP @alannasofia @petname83 @TinaDang @dimplequeen @tiffany1922 @atmi @ZoilaObregon @brinJSN @CelinaGonzalez @JessicaChaney @Animaniafreak @CrystalBlunt @AliciaJaneth @NaraA @TurtleyTurtles @sherrysahar @raenel @CandaceJordan @LemonLassie @AprilNapier @peahyr @MyAffairWith @SarahRegulski @HappyLulie @GingerMJones @humairaa @yellowbug18 @reaper412 @hikaymm

Tattoos: Understand risks and precautions
Tattoos might make you feel cool and are more common than ever, but don't take tattooing lightly. Know the risks and understand basic safety precautions and aftercare steps before jumping into tattooing! You could be the proud owner of a new tattoo in a matter of hours β€” but don't let the ease of getting tattoos stop you from making a thoughtful decision about permanent body art. Before you get a tattoo, make sure you know what's involved. Also, be certain that tattooing is the right decision for you. How tattoos are done: A tattoo is a permanent mark or design made on your skin with pigments inserted through pricks into the skin's top layer. Typically, the tattoo artist uses a hand-held machine that acts much like a sewing machine, with one or more needles piercing the skin repeatedly. With every puncture, the needles insert tiny ink droplets. The process β€” which is done without anesthetics β€” causes a small amount of bleeding and slight to potentially significant pain. Tattoos breach the skin, which means that skin infections and other complications are possible. Specific risks include: 1) Allergic reactions. Tattoo dyes β€” especially red, green, yellow and blue dyes β€” can cause allergic skin reactions, such as an itchy rash at the tattoo site. This can occur even years after you get the tattoo. 2) Skin infections. A skin infection β€” which might cause redness, swelling, pain and a pus-like drainage β€” is possible after tattooing. Other skin problems. Sometimes bumps called granulomas form around tattoo ink. Tattooing can also lead to keloids β€” raised areas caused by an overgrowth of scar tissue. 3) Bloodborne diseases. If the equipment used to create your tattoo is contaminated with infected blood, you can contract various bloodborne diseases β€” including tetanus, hepatitis B and hepatitis C. 4) MRI complications. Rarely, tattoos or permanent makeup might cause swelling or burning in the affected areas during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exams. In some cases, tattoo pigments can interfere with the quality of the image β€” such as when a person who has permanent eyeliner has an MRI of the eye. Medication or other treatment β€” including possible removal of the tattoo β€” might be needed if you experience an allergic reaction to the tattoo ink or you develop an infection or other skin problem near a tattoo.
