We all have those few bands that hold a special place in our hearts. Some of the groups we were really into in middle and early high school broke up, (RIP The Academy Is) but others are still making great music today, we just forgot about them. Here are five bands that are still rocking.

1. All Time Low

We may remember them from their hits "Dear Maria Count Me In" and "Poppin' Champagne", but this band just released a solid album in 2015, Future Hearts. Check out "Kids in the Dark", "Something's Gotta Give" and the title track.

2. My Chemical Romance (Part I)

I know, they broke up (RIP) but the solo projects of members Frank Iero and Gerard Way are really solid. Former lead guitarist Ray Toro and Bassist Mikey Way are making music too.
Gerard Way, former lead singer recently released his first solo effort Hesitant Alien is a brit-pop inspired masterpiece that wouldn't have happened with MCR. Check out Millions, and Action Cat, two awesome tracks.

3. My Chemical Romance (Part II)

Gerard isn't the only member making a splash solo, Frank Iero the former rhythm guitarist put out a record of his own. Drawing on post-hardcore and punk influences, Frank went less pop with his record. The blood soaked video for lead single Joyriding is really awesome too.

4. Fall Out Boy

For those of you who dropped Fall Out Boy off the radar after Sugar We're Going Down and Thanks For The Memories, I feel sorry for you. This band has an amazing discography full of hits. Their 2015 release, American Beauty/American Psycho boasts the mega hits Centuries and dance-worthy track Uma Thurman.

5. Panic! At The Disco

Everyone remembers I Write Sins Not Tragedies, but do you know about Miss. Jackson? Get educated on the new Panic! At The Disco stuff, you won't be disappointed. Even though the band has been reincarnated, lead singer Brendon Urie has kept the spirit of the band alive.
Omg, for me this is more like bands from my sophomore year of college. #foreverold But I had friends OBSESSED with the Fueled By Ramen bands back in the day. We lived close to LA, so whenever there was a casting call, they'd all rush to be in the videos.
@BeannachtOraibh screaming at the youths to get off my lawn..... XD
Well, at least we're not old bats complaining about the "racket", I guess.
@BeannachtOraibh lol yeah I didn't want to say I was older when they first started making music either T_T
Middle school...? (°-°) (._.) ( l: ) ( .-. ) ( :l ) (._.)O○•••
