Just another case of the sexist politics involved in Hollywood. Really, it's just sad.

D-lister Rose McGowan is pointing out the ridiculously sexist requirements for Adam Sandler's movie. It's so annoying that women are expected to be beautiful and sexy at every appearance and in public yet men have no expectations. Women must make a career of their own by creating, producing, and writing their own material and movies that they will later be paid less for than their male counterpart. HORRIBLE.
"It was just so dumb. I was offended by the stupidity more than anything. I was offended by the fact that went through so many people's hands and nobody red flagged it. This is normal to so many people. It was probably even a girl that had to type it up. It's institutionally OK."

SO here's the tweet.

McGowan is simply stating the obvious that sexism shouldn't be tolerated.
"I'm not trying to vilify Adam Sandler. Although someone did tell me that when he did his Netflix deal, he said, 'I signed with Netflix because it rhymes with Wet Chicks.' I mean, what? What in the f--k is going on? No!"
Sandler did indeed say that after the deal last fall, "I immediately said yes for one reason and one reason only. Netflix rhymes with Wet Chicks." -Adam Sandler

"They're not going to want me in that role! That's OK because I don't want to do it anyways. So there!"

This isn't the first time that McGowan has dealt with the sexist industry. "When I did my first film, I was told by my agent that I would need to have long hair so men in this town would want to f--k me and hire me. That was said to a 17-year-old. I found a lot of things about the accouterments of Hollywood silly—especially the red carpet. My thing was, if I'm going to do a red carpet, let's play with it. You want me to be your show pony? I'll be your show pony. You want to play? Let's play. You want to f--k with me? I'll f--k with you."

Are you annoyed with sexism yet? Because I am.

Boooo. Just saying, I never thought Adam Sandler was funny, and now I'm really glad I never liked him :)
Adam's a total putz. Shit, he has two daughters. The hell kind of lesson is he trying to teach them about men when they grow up & have to deal w/ them? Glad I don't watch his crappy movies.
