It’s my favorite time of the year: Yeezy season. Chicago native Kanye West is dropping the Yeezy Boost 350 this week. The sneaker has an unreal buzz and very high street value. The shoe costs around 200 bucks, but the resell value is rumored to be anywhere from 1,500 to 2,300 dollars.
Due to the hype of the shoe and the very low amount being distributed, Adidas has let loose a meticulously-plotted process to weed out the weak. For those who want to buy a pair and have no idea where to start, I have listed steps below to how to acquire the shoes.
- Follow @adidasOriginals on Twitter. That’s the only way to determine when you access the app for reservations.
-The adidas Confirmed app will launch on Thursday, June 25. The launch time will be staggered by time zone. The app will allow you to reserve a pair ahead of time
-If you succeed in getting a reservation: You can pick up your new shoes this Saturday at a time and location designated by the app.
-If you don’t, there’s still hope: 13 adidas stores will hold an in-store lottery to award the Boost to lucky winners. To enter the lottery, you have to sign up in-store by the end of the day on Wednesday. Winners will be announced Friday. To enter the lottery, head to adidas outlets in:
California: South Coast Plaza, Westfield San Francisco Centre Florida: Aventura Mall, Miami Beach, The Florida Mall, Westfield Brandon Georgia: Lenox Square Maryland: Westfield Annapolis Nevada: Las Vegas Strip New Jersey: Cherry Hill Mall, Westfield Garden State Plaza New York: Roosevelt Field Texas: Houston Galleria
-Final option: As a last resort, you can try getting your kicks on Saturday atwww.adidas.com/kanye.
Without connections, copping a pair of Yeezy Boosts will be a daunting task. This one may take a bit a luck and divine intervention, lol.
